For the sake of sanity.. people should be reminded of all the other psychopaths in this world.. Jack the Ripper, Jeffrey Dahmer.. and aside from Dahmer, the huge list of other cannibalistic criminals in our history.. even in recent history.. I can research and compile a list for you..

Yeah...and those screwed up people, get off on that sort of thing. Look at television. They produce the stuff that's on TV and it's filled with CRAP that is not good for one's soul. We're allowing all types of spirits roam the earth...and their portal is TELEVISION. Look at our people in society. They're already ZOMBIES. I was under the impression that the toxicology of the "zombie" had not been completed yet... Please tell me why you keep saying lsd is responsible? It actually seems rather unfounded. Even for a guess id go with pcp or bath salts before '___'. Next im sure youll guess MDMA is to blame for such viscious behavior.

All joking aside obviously the guy isnt the undead...but many viruses have the capability of producing similar effects. That my friend is why this whole "zombie in miami" thing is catching on. What if rabies mutated and became more contageous. That is what is so fun about this story.

So I would love a legitimate link to the toxicology report that youve seen.

And don't forget the Montreal guy who is now on the run after filming himself stabbing a guy to death on his bed, mutilating the body etc... I won't go on, because the guy is seriously disturbed like the rest mentioned, and seemingly without needing any drugs to be that deranged.

I think a lot of people are missing the influence of media on these people too. There is some argument here that psychotic or drugged people in these cases are almost playing out scenes from horror films. That's not a coincidence.

There are sick and strange crimes happening all over the world, all the time. The fact that these are all seemingly connected is a delusion.

Two stories I've seen about the Zombie guy both quote the Police department as suggesting he was on bath salts.

There are several other cases where users have become psychotic and become extremely dangerous to others.

The resulting hallucinations are the likely cause of this grotesque event. It's not so strange that deranged people would act out their worst nightmares when under the influence of hallucinogenics. That is what makes the whole process of using powerful drugs like this so dangerous.

Don't get me wrong I understand that there are deranged individuals in the world. As well im pretty sure the individual in question was indeed on drugs. I just don't see it being '___'. Even though '___' hallucinations are intense and with enough of it this incident is possible, the level of barbarity shown is much more easily achieved through pcp, meth, or bath salts.

My main question really is why miniatus is so certain it was '___'. I personally have not seen an official statement on the toxicology report for so called "zombie"

To make it perfectly clear: the toxicology reports from the "zombie man" have NOT been released. Anything is pure speculation on the behalf of the cops right now.

Miami police have not released 911 calls. The medical examiner declined to discuss Eugene's autopsy, and results of toxicology tests could take weeks.

Will more of these news stories pop up? Sure, it makes good news and is "related" to the "zombie attack." Have these always been going on? Who knows. Dollars to doughnuts, we will be seeing more of these events in the coming weeks.

Looking through this post I have noticed something that really bothers me... Just when the hell did everyone start not only listening to what major media outlets have to say, but actually believing them without question?? Whenever this topic comes up across any of the forums I visit there is an alarmingly high number of people who say "CNN says" or "they said he was on drugs". I guess I was under the impression that most of the individuals on these sorts of forums took everything big brother tells them with a grain of salt. I understand that no matter what evidence we are provided in regards to the "Excited Delirium" cases it will only reaffirm the coverup. I personally believe that the case in Miami and the other similar cases of individuals stripping down and going feral are not linked to bath salts or lsd. I know people who have done ALOT of those particular substances and they say the chances of multiple people having the exact same trip that would make them strip down and attack people like an animal are nearly nonexistant.

I am totally not claiming that Z-day is upon us. I was just trying to maybe come up with another answer because I think having to either choose drugs or zombies is a bit of a reach in either direction.

You're exactly right.

They are only speculating that it might have been bath salts, just like they originally speculated coc aine induced psychosis, and then '___', and now bath salts. Toxicology is not back yet, so nobody knows for sure, it is just guesses.

I think your taking the whole zombie thing too literally. No the guy wasnt the undead... But if he had vCJD or Rabies... Or better yet mutated versions of these diseases and his infection made him do it? Well thats close enough to zombie for me to call zombie. We just have to wait for a coroners report to find out what happened.

And remember, autopsy and toxicology reports are public record. If they aren't released in a few weeks, I'll be personally putting a FoiA request in. We'll just have to wait and see how the media spins it.
