Zombies and the media? Could be more serious then it seems.

Hello members of ATS, I have a big message and you need to hear me. Me and my friend recently got into a discussion about how the media, the Illuminati, the NWO or whoever you want to call it send us messages secretly in movies and odd new stories to tell us what is going to happen in the future.

With that said, let me step back and post some stories that have recently been in the news.

After reviewing these, I thought they were suspicious, but nothing to big, until my friend mentioned they are calling it a rabies virus. Rabies... Virus...Outbreak...Zombies... Sound's like a movie called I am Legend doesn't it.

First off, The Infected are never fully realized. Some audiences may begin to wonder just what exactly is wrong with them. They obviously display vampire-like instabilities (fear of the sun, drinking blood, etc.) but I don't remember them ever being referred to as vampires, instead it is described as a strain of rabies at one point, and mutation at another

Sound familiar doesn't it? what about this. People killing themselves and hurting themselves randomly for no reason... The Happening?

In Central Park, New York City people begin committing mass suicide. After showing disorientation, they kill themselves in a variety of convenient ways. Initially believed to be a bioterrorist attack using an airborne neurotoxin, the behaviour quickly spreads across the northeastern United States, moving from large population centers to smaller areas.

This might all seem far-fetched, but I am just voicing my opinion. I would like to know if you think this is just a phase or something serious.

lol I came here to ATS after a brief break EXPECTING this to show up...

The guy who ate the face off the guy in FL was found to be doped on '___'

The stomach toss guy.. the Jersey situation.. that man had a history of psychosis, violence and resistance of arrest..

What we have here is similar to many other situations.. a drawing of lines to connect dots that don't exist..

Now while I find these stories gruesome.. and they ARE ... they are disconnected.. they are not the sign of things to come.. they are the sign of a bad trip and a psych patient..

Now don't get me wrong, some sick side of me would love a real true to the film zombie apocalypse.. but this isn't it.. =) This is some news stories that are bizarre getting connected to form a point.

Not sure if you are completely serious with the zombie thing or not...

but NBC said while I was eating (chicken, not face) that those "bath salts" that some idiots snort for a high was the reason for the Miami cannibal thing.

ETA: hadn't heard the '___' take on it before...

I read that he was on '___' .. but I haven't stayed up to date on it..

Or might it be that more people are experimenting with new designer drugs, abusing drugs, and the subsequent events take place. So if you say more people are using drugs to "zombie" out, then sure I guess you can call them zombies.

I dont know. Just because the articles say these "facts", does not mean that these are true. news articles will always try to show justification for these peoples actions. Its easy for the authors to just input those into the stories. This is the time where we all, as the readers, need to read these OBJECTIVELY.

We are all believers, except for minitatus, and we all know that is completely possible. we all know that the media will never actually start referring to these as a zombie apocalypse (well only in a satirical way). At what point will they start calling it what it is?

CNN said they were going to cover the "zombie-like attack" after they come back from break in a couple minutes if anybody is interested....
if for nothing else the reporter Erin Burnett is kinda hot.

I never denied they were true..

I denied that they were connected... I cited two .. the man lunching on another man's face, drugs were found in the guy's system, his wife noted a violent past.. the intestine flinger? he had a history of psychosis .. violence and resistance of police ... that is drawing lines that don't exist... it's drawing false conclusions....

You said we are all believers EXCEPT me .. I think that is bull crap... for one.. second.. I already said I'd love it.. I am a horror movie fan, I'd love in a sick way for this to be real.. but the fact is .. it's delusional ... it's not what you think.. it's disconnected events.. the people had histories... deal with it..

When is World War Z coming out?

Maybe Hollywood is getting the MSM to warm the public up to the idea first.....a little "taster" so to speak.

These are crazy events.. but the people mentioned have histories .. or drugs in their system, known drugs! .. '___' for the face biter.. and a history of psychosis in the other main person.. the only odd thing I found in any of these histories are the kids at schools with the unexplained rashes.. but they didn't lurch out and start eating people...

The people buying into this are jumping to conclusions and ignoring rationality.. ignoring known facts ... that's not cool..

Okay well i guess i am just assuming. I think that if some type of apocalypse is going to happen, i just feel like a virus that turns people into flesh eating maniacs is way more probable then the "second coming of jesus" or some thing else.

'___' has done similar in the past... for some people.. as has coc aine .. and many other drugs... this is hardly a zombie apocalypse... it's people injecting sh!t in their body they shouldn't...
