Uh Oh! More Zombies... "Porn actor named as suspect in body parts case"

Yesterday there was a story about a human foot being sent to Conservative headquarters in Canada.

In this chain of depraved events, orchestrated by a disturbed mind, it turns out that the severed human foot delivered to Tory headquarters was only the latest link.

Before that, someone repeatedly stabbed a young man with an ice pick. While both killer and victim lay naked, he dismembered the corpse and committed sexual and cannibalistic acts on it.

It seems we have another case of man eating zombie condition breaking out, this time far away from Florida, all the way up to the neighbors of the North.

Zombie Apocalypse?

Maybe it's just the big shift in consciousness those new agers were talking about for 2012. A zooooombie shift.

people forget we are an animal species inhabiting an alien world somewhere in the vast cosmos...

i'd expect at least something major to change here and there every so often, it's a part of nature..

I think that what we perceive as normal for now might be in a major shift...but i'm not certain, it's just an observation.

'zombies' pervade so much of our culture, as well as violence etc.. that it should be expected for it to transition into the real world at some point.

2 days ago, someone here posted a thread about this murder, with a link to a site where a video of the murder was hosted. The thread got 404ed, eventually.

I've seen parts of the movie and it was gruesome.

I hope they catch the sicko and lock him as far away as can be. He should never see the light of day until he goes to Hell.

This man had apparently sent the hand and foot of the body to government officials in Ottawa, with the body found left outside his home in Montreal. There are apparently body parts still missing, but police won't release which ones. The man apparently knew the victim. The man in question had apparently been a very disturbed man who had an online reputation of killing kittens on camera and posting it on YouTube. Media outlets are speculating that he potentially video taped the killing based on police orders at the moment, but it's only speculation until more information comes out. They suspect he may have some relation to Carla Hulmolka (sp?). A reporter who had interviewed the man in 2007 said he seemed like an ill man, and actually thought he was under the influence of drugs while talking to him. At this point, his main focus was denying any connection to Carla as many had supposedly been accusing him of having one, but the journalist could not find any connection between him and Carla that would suggest such things. The journalist also found it quite ironic as well, as the man had dyed his hair blonde, and looked a lot like Paul Bernardo, Carla's husband. The man just smirked when the journalist commented on this. He apparently has a very notorious reputation for being quite eccentric online, though I have not researched this very much.

Just wanted to put out some info I heard on the way home It just sounds like a very chronically sick man, no zombie apocalypse from what I see.

Zombies? I have been hearing that phrase all over the place lately. These people are not zombies in the sense of a Romero movie or some other silver-screen adaption. So there are quite a few stories showing just how depraved the human animal can be. That depravity has followed us since we crawled out of the primordial slime. I am shocked by these stories as anybody would be. However, I am not going to eat up the sensationalist drivel that is going around to glamorize or make this behavior seem hip. That is just my opinion as result of some of the reaction I have seen.

Perhaps, we are seeing the snowball becoming the avalanche? I mean these sporadic incidents can be one of the signs that society is losing it. With the protests going on at the four corners of the earth, government inadequacy, massive debts, corruption in politics and the financial system, uptick in natural disasters, and wars and rumors of wars. People can only take so much negativity. Sooner or later the screws start coming off and it is either fight or flight. I believe we are watching Western Civilization unravel at the seams. These attacks are horrific, and a sign of the times. Society is falling apart, and it is going to get worse before it gets better. It took Europe a thousand years to crawl out of the Dark Ages. This is going to be one long and wild ride. Fasten the seat belts.

A video that purportedly shows a suspect wanted in connection with the Ottawa–Montreal body parts case brutally killing and sexually assaulting a naked man appears on a Canadian-operated website.

Police are now studying the gruesome video, which was believed to have been taken by the suspect, identified today by police as Luka Rocco Magnotta.

It covers the fact that the guy was linked to Homolka but he denied it.

Something troubling for me is that judging by his website he was a fan of alternative news and media sites.

This bothers me because while most people on ATS and the like don't always agree with the official story, or have opinions of their own, they are just normal people with an alternative outlook. Unfortunately, this will help people that want to paint the community as a bunch of nutters.

Hah, that made me chuckle Should just note, they claim to use it as a way to get people to be prepared for any other emergencies like "hurricane, pandemic, earthquake, or terrorist attack", but quite funny that they took this route

Wonder why Zombies, Zombie Apocalypse, and Zombie Preparedness continue to live or walk dead on a CDC web site? As it turns out what first began as a tongue in cheek campaign to engage new audiences with preparedness messages has proven to be a very effective platform.

Wow, didn't know the video was online. CBC said reporters just assumed, since it's a bit quick to get an arrest warrant without anything less. Good find!

I think it does put a shadow on alternative news sites unfortunately, as it makes it easier for the media to blame sites like ATS without reason. Really, conspiracy theories can be an infatuation for these individuals, but it's not the cause of their problems themselves. Any idea can cause such fixations. Just so happens that conspiracy theories, that sound very likely, and have little evidence to back them up, just so happen to be good fodder for people like this. Helps to feed the delusion. But fixing the delusion does nothing to fix the disease. Sad to see the world turning to what it has.

Simple public health campaign to promote emergency preparedness that catches the eye. If I saw "Zombie Apocalypse" on the side of a professional health care website, I would certainly click on it.
