its logic that if there are sensitive photos taken the actuals will not be released to general public especially if a concern with EA*RTH security is @ hand. So it makes sense that the images are degraded yes?

I won't hold my breath but I wouldn't hesitate to make a wager though! I believe China will be the one who leaks irrefutable photos.
This is why I believe NASA made that blatant, arrogant and unbelievable request to put up a no-fly zone around a portion of the Moon. Can we get anymore god-like?

I honestly believe we have a space war going on RIGHT now with other peoples' satellites/probes and perhaps alien crafts too beyond our range of vision (although night goggles help).

I think this is what happened to the Russian satellites when it attempted contact with Phobos years ago.
Trust me, we only hear 1% of what's really going on out there.

I take the opposite view to you on this because these days people are looking for and are open to answers about our origins. It isn't like it was even 50 years ago where such a revelation could literally shock the world to its core. Therefore i honestly believe that if NASA or whoever had some genuine, quality (non blurry) pictures then they would release them to global acclaim and various awards all round.

Well see here's the thing. There are 'people', as you put it and then there's the government. The "elite" if you will. The ones running this planet.

They are not prepared to tell us, 'there's more than just life on Earth' because then they'll lose control over us. We're dependent on them to teach and tell us their story. Hence: His Story. They own the educational systems, the media, the space programs and they're in bed with the Pope! Christianity is not about to re-write the bible and take out Adam and Eve like they did with Pluto.

If it were common knowledge that alien intelligence not only exists but were here waaaaaaaaaay before we were then, there would be a liberation of sorts with the Human species. And the Elite don't want us liberated. They want us ignorant.

I wish it were so, but alas... I am afraid it is not to be.

Consider the surrounding area. There should be some sort of other structures or support buildings or a complex, but there is not. They are not hidden... why go through the trouble of pillars and a dome only to hide the other structures?

And if you build a structure with pillars and a dome...sort of a Greek Revival structure... it would be blazenly obvious.... not so here.

Nope... just wishful thinking and peradoilia.

I think the 'dome' you see is a depression, a crater within a crater, everything else just rocks about their normal business.

Heck, while we are throwing out numbers, I might as well say a bajillion, I have as much evidence to support that claim as anyone else. Actually, to be fair, you guys are slightly more credible than my own claim, but only because bajillion isnt an actual number.

I can clearly see Donald Duck in the first image. I really mean it, it's right there in the lower half, in full 3D. I see eyes, the bill, the head and the neck. And the parts which are supposedly a "dome" with "pillars" rather looks like a gigantic flip-flop shoe to me.

The difference between me and the OP is that I *know* that this is called pareidolia and that there isn't really a Donald Duck statue or a flip-flop shoe on Mars ...

I am somewhat confused. I can see SOMETHING there, but I am neither concieted nor deluded enough to imagine that I am capable of telling what it is from these poor quality images.

I have to confess, that of all the "Look I will highlight it for you" type threads I have seen, this one is probably the most tenuous I have ever cast an eyeball or two over. I mean, suggesting a dome of translucent material is utterly unsupportable based on the image provided, and as for the broken swastika comment... What? If you look at the image without the markers on it, do you know what that part looks like? It looks like a geological formation.

Besides which, are you suggesting that some enterprising fascist scumbag went to space to build a fort on a planet and etch a bloody great swastika on the ground outside, before being interupted by a meteor to the face? I mean seriously. That is not what I call objectivity.

That is not to say that I dont think the area ought to be gone over with a higher resolution imaging package, because that is EXACTLY what I think should happen next. But all one can say with any certainty about the images you have provided, is that they are interesting and worthy of further investigation. One can certainly NOT say that the images contain castles, icons of an outmoded political system from Earth, or translucent materials. Its bloody fantasy at best and delusion at worst.

If we as a community wish to be taken seriously, then serious rigor must be applied to all our thinking. Finding an image and creating mountains out of hillocks however, will not see the field of research to which we are all applying ourselves find vindication and the support of billions of dollars and pounds of research assistance from top institutes. It WILL see some members institutionalised, but not the way we intend. Please for the love of matter and energy STOP with the spurious (although imaginative) claptrap!
