I need you, you need me, we all need each other.
Italians, Danes, Belgians, Germans, Portugeses,... I'm asking all of you to read or dig the following

"EU Law 1924/2006/CE" (links below)

We all know Europe SUCKS. But that's the way they rule us now. So why not, for ONCE, act as a united european people, forget our nationalities and fight against this crap law.

What is it about?

Well, 1924/2006/CE is about throwing a wrench in the works of alternative medicine SME by imposing strict rules to them. I tried to read the whole boring EU document. They're planning to forbid wellness allegations for vitamins, trace-elements, minerals,... unless "independent specialists" say it's ok. The final word will be given by the EFSA, European Food Safety Agency. Or that's what I understood at least. (Please share if more info)

What does that mean?

It means to me that life for independent small companies is not gonna be great at all. They will have to try to convince these "independent scientist" by fulfilling a document that provides infos about the substances they're selling. We're talking about non-food related products. Sometimes alternative medicine products used for milleniums.

I'm not saying all these non-chemical medicine companies are always worth trusting. Especially the way they advertise. But for one abuser there might be nine honests retailers. All of them will have to move heaven and earth to get that permission.

How many of them will be discouraged to face administration? How many will get that authorization?
Big question mark here but what's sure is we're going one step further in the ban of natural products and the protection of the big pharma wallet by our "elite".

It means also to me that they're planning to stuff our mouths with chemicals and drugs with many side effects. In the long term, might it mean we could only cure ourselves by getting sicker and paying a lot of money? Sounds more than credible to me.

What can we do?

That's the part we can help each other. There might be a possibility to fight against this law. There's a petition online that requires 1.000.000 signatures. Yes 1.000.000.

The good news is we are almost 500.000.000 in Europe. This is totally feasible.

Why are you posting here then? If you only need 1.000.000 signatures and you already have 500.000.000 then you are already above the limit,??

You didn't read properly. There are more or less 500.000.000 inhabitants in EU. But to kill this law, 1.000.000 signatures are needed.

OR 1/500th of the european population.

BTW "I" don't need anything. Our children do

I have to counter your arithmetic, too: 9 fails on every one possible not-working, but not-hurting purple-water-seller..

No, I don't believe in homeopathy - but I don't believe in chemotherapy, too, nevertheless, one of these does work, the other is colored water (or sugar drops with NONE information/medicament in it). Prove me better. Tales of "It totally worked for me and my puppy and my little baby and you can't give placebos to those!" are only: tales.

Bring a documented double-blind-study. There is none as far as I know.

Therefore: lets give them documents to fill out. Those will weed out the crop!

Good you come up with that. Both sides need to be controlled. But why lead a witch-hunt in the natural medicine sector and not in the chemical sector? If you don't believe in it, it sure won't work. So why not letting people just take the medicine they want? And not force people to suffer from side effects.

Many of my relatives have cancer and I wish they heard about some natural cures when I see how they suffered/died from chemotherapy. It still only works for 30% of cancerous people — should say "works" when you see the suffering— so why do they make a religion of chemotherapy? And why doesn't Europe ask big pharmas to warn people about more about it?

More control, why not. But in both direction.

More control? Do you REALLY know how much control is done in the fields of chemotherapy? My wife works as a documentation officer for an official study concerning the treatment of acute lymphatic leukaemia in kids. Dude, every single doctor trying to save a kid with this cancer would give arm and leg to save them. If there would be a miracle cure for it, it would be used. You don't understand how much energy these people are giving to find the next, just a little bit better way, to treat a kid with cancer.

They are working on it, really. Chemotherapy as far as I understand it is only a small part of the treatment, but EVERY SINGLE STEP in the path of treatment is DOCUMENTED to the EXTREME. Every single small improvement is given out to every clinic connected to this study (as far as I know that means every single clinic in Europe treating this type of cancer) IMMEDIATELY.

Lets have THIS KIND of documentation about the results of homeopathic treatments. I am absolutely sure that there will be no trace of a working therapy based only on those treatments.
