so if we find life out there...
how do you explain the Jesus Story..
a) he repeated his story on every planet in the universe?
b) he chose our planet from all the universe?
c) his story is flawed
hope you face my question like a matured person and not evade awayedit on 30-5-2012 by heineken because: (no reason given)
Im not sure, to be honest, i dont think their is any other life out their so the story works for me... I dont think its a good idea to smack talk Jesus..... You should just leaaaaaaave it alone..

Do you read you're own posts? The OP is no more or less delusional.

I can see with my own eyes
There are 2 adjective words here, that are very important (bearing in mind in not knocking anyone, i WISH i could see something in the sky, but in my 14 years of astronomy, i have not seen anything that is inexplicable or any rogue planets, or anything next to the sun) the words are :
'I' and 'own'
So, i ask this, why is it only you, with your own eyes that see something? Where as the rest of us see reflections/refractions/lens effects and so forth. Again, im not challenging knowledge, but that stuff is basic science which has recently been taught to my 7 year old brother...

Ok well i took 6 images this morning with 3 different cameras
Image 1 was through glass (double glazed uPVC)
Image 2 was without glass
Camera 1 was a Fujifilm Finepix AV120
Camera 2 was a Canon EOS 350D
Camera 3 Blackberry Torch 9800
I found flares in all glass images, and nothing unusual in the other images, so me, and my own personal interpretation would be, there is nothing next to the sun, but your views seem to differ, why is this? Am i a liar? Or are you seeing things that arent really there? Maybe its my mind that is removing something that is there?
Does anyone have a logical explanation? (Other than "Planet x/Nibiru/Other anomoly" can only be seen in the southern hemisphere)
There are 2 obvious choices....its either :
You are seeing things that are there, and im not
OR, your seeing things that arent there which would back up the comment of being delusional.
I'm very much a man of science, so like to see things in black and white, which is always the best way, this will rule of user error and invalid data, this experiment for me is proof, that for me, in England UK, there is nothing next to the sun.

I've taken many pictures, and though not an expert, I can discern the difference between lens flares and artifacts and objects which are not.

Oh and for reference, i wish there was something weird going on, it would make Astronomy a LOT more interesting!

Do you have a reference of seismic activity over a longer period than a few years? Ie. 10/20/30 years and correlated the data into readable information and noted that there has been an increase in not only size or position, but frequency?
This would back up the theory of increasing seismic activity. Why they are disappearing is of no concern to me although im sure there is a logical reason for this, it would be an increase more than anything, which to my knowledge hasn't happened just yet,
