Overer, without a doubt. Bloody winds me up when it is on the wrong way round! Without doubt, all underers need rounding up and sending to special "educational facilities" to be shown the error of their ways.

But... Are you a leftist, or a rightist, then?

I'm a rightist when it comes to that. I guess it all depends on whether your left-handed or right-handed. However, there are some left-handed people who use their right hand, and some right-handed people who use their left hand. Those people are traitors. I do not deal with those people.

My local police station was recently broken into, the thieves actually removed all the toilets from the bathrooms.
When asked if he had any leads into who might have done this, the police chief said "we have nothing to go on".

As General of the Underer Army I have seen many defeats, but I remain resilient. I will fight this war until the tides turn and the Overers see the errors in their ways. It is my dootie (excuse me, "duty") to uphold the ways of the Underer at all costs. For it is the Under way that is the true way. The noble way. The respected way.

Vertical doesn't solve a thing; you still have the end of the roll "away from the wall" vs. "next to the wall"

You'd still need a second line.

I guess I am an Overer... It was ingrained into me by my Dad who'd always gripe if the TP roll wasn't replaced properly in the Over position. I can't seem to look at a roll of TP without thinking of my Dad complaining over the position of the TP and feel how ridiculous such an issue can be, but obviously unbeknownst to me this is a serious issue. I guess I do feel aggravated when in a facility where the TP has been postioned under...its always hard to find the starting piece. It takes several attempts at rolling the paper around and around waiting for the piece to loosen up so that I can grab it when it is free.

Plain versus quilted? Now theres another argument... I have problems opening a toilet roll.. you know the bit that is stuck down. Now some tp is easy to unstick but what about those little devils that wont unravel and you have to pick at the glued end and sometimes going into 2 or 3 layers and end up with a wad of tissue.
And how much loo roll do you use.. I always initually take off a yard then think about how much I really need then proceed to quantify waste then calculate need versus .........oh golly!!!! It's all too much I say. All too much.........

I hate when that happens. Same thing with a roll of tape when you go to tear off a piece and only a thin sliver of it gets unrolled. Then you have to back track and get it back to even again.

I am an overer hands down!
I only have to use one hand to tear my tp, while my other hand is free to do whatever I please. Be it eating or drinking, talking on the phone, texting, etc........Things too important to sacrifice the use of one hand just to tear the tissue.

I must have missed this the first time I read it which coincidentally was exactly two years ago, but... you like to eat while on the toilet?... Does anybody else do this?...

Such a great debate! I am going on record as an under-er.

That is until you get one of those novelty rolls. You know the ones, they have the crossword puzzle or latest suduko challenge printed on them. And you just can't "under" the Christmas roll with the Santa face saying "Ho Ho HO .... OH NO!" and Santa hiding his eyes with his mittens.

Namaste,
YogaGinns

ps: I suppose as long as the person taking the last square has the courtesy to replace the roll...beggars can't be choosers.

It has to be OVER...the other way is irrational.

I bet most underers are left-handed too.

Yes! A fellow underer! Is there a certain reason why you choose to do the under method?...
