A close interaction between politicians and the press is inevitable, former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair has told the Leveson Inquiry.
Mr Blair told the inquiry that at its best British journalism was the best in the world. But he said the use of newspapers as instruments of political power created a relationship that was "unhealthy".
At one point a protester had to be ejected after getting into the court and calling Mr Blair a "war criminal".
Proceedings were interrupted for around 20 seconds before the man was escorted away

Blair IS a criminal. One of many. All over the world.
It is the rule of the labour party why I left England ( not "Great Britain", "Great Britain" is just a comparison to "Little Britain" - Brittany, in France ) and went away to Eastern Europe, Far East, Asia, Pacific islands...
I love our little island. Love its weather. Love its people. England is Heaven. One just has to get used to it
I am an Englander. "British people" are Englanders. Not "British".
You won't find "Englander" describing us, inhabitants of England, anywhere on search engines. We are being eradicated.
Englanders, stay Englanders. Do not give in into being "British".
We are being wiped out. Slowly, but surely.
England, Englander.
Not British, Briton.
