Our women & children, the most precious natural resources.

To my fellow men.
Why are we not doing a better job of protecting the most precious natural resources we have?
We are allowing our seeds to be systematicly rendered docile and brainless by a world that seeks to enslave them.
We allow them to become selfish,egotistical,materialistic and apothetic to others.
We treat women like items to be owned and symbols of statice.
We veiw them as weak and ignore the fact that they are our equals.
We allow both to go hungry and homeless in a land were we waist more then most nations consume.
They are our future.
Look at the world we are leaving them because we destroy it out of greed,hate and the need to dominate others.
We are failing them.....
We are obligated to protecting them and we are not.
I appeal to you,my fellow men, the time for sitting down has long been over.
Let's protect our future.....
Without them there is nothing..... We will be nothing.
Sorry for the rant but my heart has been heavy lately.

Women don't need a mans protection.

They need men to respect them.

Women and children aren't that precious.

Many of them are just bullies and will tear you apart any chance they get.

This country pays lip service to the idea of our children being our future. They SAY our children are our most precious resource, but then they feed them TOTAL crap, send them to schools that barely cover the basics and don't nurture and care for them in ways that would make them productive and happy members of society.

The more I think about it, the more I believe that the human race is a scourge upon this planet. I can't think of a thing we're good for besides indiscriminate breeding and destruction.

While I feel it is a very wellmeant post, I nonetheless also see some contradictions in it.
For instance, if women- as they ofcourse are- are just as equal as men(And vice versa) then how can they at the same time be more precious?

I have never been able to understand the idea that a specific gender would be worth more than the other(For instance resulting in men even being held back at gunforce from entring the lifeboats, such as during Titanic's sinking and not being allowed to entry them until every women and child had filled them up first), or, that a specific agegroup would be considered worth more, either, as, in my opinion, every group is just as equal to each other, although, ofcourse, a child indeed needs more protection as it is weaker and more exposed, but it is not more worthful just because of the age.

However, although all groups are equal, not all individuals, are, no matter how controversial and horrible that may sound, but that issue I won't delve into here as the nature of it is too lenghty. All I can say is that I would without doubt choose to save a familymember of mine before saving someone that have been nasty to that familymember.
Anyway, all genders and agegroups are just as equal and worthful, but what men, women and children should do, apart from learning how to be more nice to each other, is to be nicer to the Planet.

I believe the notion of women and children first is an evolutionary trait.

Consider the amount of work involved in raising a child to adulthood. Now multiply that by the number of children a woman might have...15 is a good guess. Without protection and support, those children most likely will die before adulthood. The man who protects and provides for his family passes his genes on...versus the man who doesn't.

If our species constantly left our offspring to fend for themselves, we'd be in a much different place today.

Third for me....it's a natural instinct really. I think that is why I'm so mortified when I come across stories about mothers who abuse, abandon or kill their children.

It goes against every grain of my moral fiber and I honestly don't think I'll ever be able to wrap my head around it.
