Are you making all of this up or do you actually have sources?

Not attacking you or anything I know you said for example but just would be interesting to read about if any of the examples were from any true encounters you came across?

i heard this story on the radio sometime last night

i would be lying if i said "zombie" wasn't the first thing that came to mind...

but honestly? living in FL myself it's far more likely to be some cracked out looney.

I cannot get the vid to work, but it is on youtube and the disease is called," nodding disease baffles experts". I wonder if this disease has mutated somehow and now effecting older people somehow differently and is known as the zombies of africa. Why does all these wierd diseases come from africa? like aids. Maybe someone else can get the vid to work. I will find some of my examples.

Maybe certain governments or I should say secret military groups use some of those remote African villages for human testing of chemical warfare to see how they react to the viruses they are creating?

I'm completely guessing here btw I don't know anything factual about that sort of thing it's just a thought

Not right off the bat, methinks. There is speculation alluding to "substances", but no positive proof so far.
I hate to be grim, but that will not come until the offenders body is in a morgue somewhere, and the labs run their tests for toxicology etc.

Being the holiday weekend, I wouldn't expect word of the results until mid-week... that is, even if they are released to the public at all.

If the guy was on PCP he may well have thought he was a zombie.

And if he was on PCP, it could very well take multiple shots to take him down. Probably didn't even feel them and actually had to lose enough blood to pass out and die. I did a ride along with a cop when I was in high school in Baltimore back in the late 80's and back then the Washington DC/Baltimore area had something like 90% of the PCP consumption in America -- apparently the largest makers of the stuff were some motorcycle gang in the region. Anyway, he had about half a dozen horrifying (and sometimes funny) stories about guys he had to subdue or usually help subdue who were flipping out on PCP. One guy he said was "throwing couches" at the cops as they advanced on him to subdue him. That guy took six big cops to take down using physical force, he said, and even then they could just barely manage it. The guy felt no pain at all.

Apparently there was a report of police shooting a man who attacked a doctor in a Miami hospital. Don't know how true it is or if it is related, but if not, it's a HUGE coincidence!

Agreed! Especially if you read/watch The Walking Dead series. You will realize that zombies are not your only threat...

Why are drugs & mental illness always the answer? I think people who commit these crimes are 100% clear in mind & they just want to do what they desire. My family in Venezuela say it happens often over there, its just that nobody cares to do anything about it & voodoo is just a common practice too.

ETA: it was mentioned that it is the attacker may have been under the influence of some new potent form of '___'. idw what to think really but just thought it odd.Also stated that the victim had 75% of their face missing! wow. I hope to never have to witness such a thing.
