I would argue that many UFO sightings these days are coming from the infrared spectrum so there is the possibility of it being a UFO that is simply in "cloaked" mode which is why it would appear to be a "void" that is also spherical. It could very well be a cloaked UFO or even a protective field surrounding a UFO. Of course...I have no evidence to support this notion. Just an idea.
