New member "checking in"

Hello, members of ATS. I would like to officially check in but first on this Memorial day, I would like to personally thank the members of the armed forces that I even have this opportunity to do so. Thank you!! I've been enjoying ATS for the past few months without signing up & always felt like I was getting away with something as there was so much to read without actually signing up. Finally decided to join a few days ago. Can't remember how I stumbled upon ATS but it was one of my lucky days. I'am amazed at the knowledge on so many different forums & often leave the site feeling quite ignorant. Hopefully soon, I can gain enough knowlege on forums that I like that I can actually start a meaningful thread. Cheers.

Need some HELP here, please
Eversince I posted on introduction forum & introduced myself I keep getting "kicked off" & repeatedly wanting me to log in again. Am I doing something wrong?? Sorry, if I'am not posting in the right place.

Hmm, I don't know what to suggest but getting "kicked off" sounds like a problem with your PC. I've been logged in for months at a time sometimes. Usually only a server reboot (at ATS headquarters) forces me to log in again.

ETA You could try using a different (new) browser to see if that helps as a temporary work-around. Firefox, Opera, Safari, to name a couple.

Once you have achieved the minimum of 20 post replies, you will be able to create your own threads in their appropriate areas & additionally be able to send and receive messages to fellow ATS members. Private Messages can be sent to Staff only, (but after the 20 post minimum, you'll have full access).
