Anyway, Is anyone else seeing whats going on with the radars on NOAA right now?

radar.weather.gov...

It's just kind of weird, can anyone explain why the precipitation is lighting up like that?

Years ago, I think it was Matt Lauer before he was famous, worked backstage for a Boston news show, helping to draw the weather maps. It was a live show, and, as a prank, he labelled the weather fronts "vermin and pestilence," so when the weatherman whipped the board around to give the weather report everyone saw a massive front of "vermin and pestilence" coming in from the mid-west. It was funny.

This may shed some light on what you are seeing I believe.

Suffice it to say that I've outright seen almost all of those radar patterns before. In cases where I haven't, I believe I have seen iterations of them and can therefore provide some plausible insight.
