Again it makes no sense Russia downed it.USA seems to have downed superjet in response to the loss of the RQ-170 stealth drone that russia helped iran bring down.

Superjet is a commercial plane not stealth.

Man, you really need to read the post you reference:

2.) The civilian superjet in question WASN'T a test run of it's capabilities. It was a test run of some new stealthing technology that is not inherent to the design of the jet itself and is an outside military project. The purpose of the test is to determine whether or not the stealth technology works and whether or not the US has considered the possibility of developing such a technology and has opted instead to go for the cheaper/more efficient alternative of pre-emptive obsoletion by designing a method of detection.

For a board that loves conspiracy theories, but gives out a lot of bad ones, you guys can't be bothered to comprehend what you read before kneejerk towing whatever line you are dragging.

The funniest thing is, I don't think I'm right. Infact, I don't think ANYTHING happened. I'm just pointing out that if you want to be paranoid there is some 'fishiness' here and if you want to invent some theories that fit...

I'm simply throwing some decent matches out there and trying to invite something better.

I just keep getting "US is evil and doesn't bother with espionage and just blatantly blow stuff up.", "You hate Russia and whiteknight the US."

I have done neither, and neither of my theories have actually been addressed...

Additionally, I don't HATE Russia. I'm just looking at the pieces and making a whole out of them rather than jumping on a EVIL US bandwagon. Yeah, your government LIES to you all the time. I am ON BOARD with you. RUSSIA's government doesn't LIE all the time?! All governments don't heavily invest in DISINFORMATION? EVERY government has a whole top-tier task force designed to dispense and decode DISINFORMATION.

House: Everybody lies.

How does that make no sense in reference to the theories I proposed? Seriously, you need to explicitly state. How does this make sense for the US to down a plane in the midst of an international test flight...by crashing it into a freaking mountain. They could have done ANYTHING! Messed with the fuel lines. Messed with the wheels. There are a million things you could do, and prevent take-off without showing your hand, and making it look like an engineering/manufacturing defect and manufacturer incompetency, thereby defuncting the mass amount of money pouring into the Russian space program. There are a million things that you could do that would make the plane appear to perform poorly and thus reduce the Russian aerospace into ash. If the goal is to discourage Russian aerospace engineering, then why would the US make it OBVIOUS that they forcibly did it? Why would the Russian's admit that they let the US do it?! It makes no sense. Since the Russians are the most forward with the finger pointing rather than the damage control, it makes them pretty likely suspects for being behind this.

Yea, I don't believe the Russians need any outside help at screwing up an aircraft design. With all the graft, corruption and slack quality control within the country's industrial base, It is a wonder any of their products work at all!

Probably not.. But with all those VP's killed in the crash, chances are they aren't going to buy any Russian jets anytime soon.

Not a must watch. It is garbage. Precisely the kind of crap designed to misinform people.

Most peope are easy to fool.
they would never belive it.
even if they whent on TV and said they did it.

they jet had finish't all the tests.
the ware making a big show of the first flight.
so hat is the best time to crash it.

the black box will show some thing.

we are in a big war...

This doesn't surprise me.

The CIA and other US security agencies these days are more like farmed out hit men for Multinational corporations. There is no longer a "state" they work for. But if Boeing wanted someone to take the competition out at the knees -- I'm sure there is a group available at reasonable rates.

I believe this is on the heels of ANOTHER test airplane flight that ended badly.

I think we can all expect some system failures or inefficiencies from new aircraft -- but a catastrophic failure is very unlikely.

I love how anything that happens it's automatically Americas fault. Why couldn't it of been china? The makes of Air Bus? from France, but nope anything happens its the US to blame. How about just faulty equipment, pilot error?

What, and Russians don't have similar jamming tech? Not buying it.

Signal jamming tech has been around since the Korean War.

Sometimes a crash is just a crash.

First thing that came to mind was that the USA caused the crash through some type of espionage.

So obviously this was Russias first thaugt aswell...

Maybe theyll just say it was America (false flag) to get China and India to back them up and NATO to back down.

Didnt Russia say they would attack the US also if they went ahead with the missle shield, which was supposably "in effect" as of latley?

Isnt the USA parked outside Iran because they know if they step foot in there without due cause it will start WW3

Either all this is Complete Bowl#e, or WW3 has already started.

This type of crash is one of the most common and many have occurred in various aircraft over the years.

I predict that the cockpit crew was showing off and just made some misjudgements that resulted in the aircraft in the side of a mountain. Looking at the crash photos, it appears a couple hundred feet higher would have been enough to clear the top.

Curious what the black box will show as far as if and when the pilot attempted to avoid the mountaintop. One thing for sure is at some point he had to realize he would hit. That segment of time must of been a horrific experience.

The (daily mail)? I'm pretty sure that's the equivalent of "The National Enquirer" is it not? Seems to me I've seen a lot of questionable stories coming out of that source. I think I'll take this reporting with a whole bag of salt!

Wow how little you know....Russians have more successful man hours in space than any other nation on this planet.....they are the leaders in space.....and now america is launching payloads on russian built rockets......LMAO......

soon china will space explorers with clout.....

Now the topic.....Did americans take out this plane....I don't believe so.....but this is typical management type blame.....Did you put enough fuel in the plane.....Manager.....ummm.....looks around the room.....points to the cleaner.....I asked her to do it......

when the soviets where in charge, all an aircraft engineer had to do was look behind him and see 2 kgb agents standing there to get the right incentive to make any project work flawlessly.

now, i think the lousy 600 rubles they collect monthly is leading to substandard projects.

Test pilots don't just take a steep turn and fly a plane into a mountain...

Plane malfunction? Could be but not likely, it's not like a promotional flight is a plane's maiden voyage.

I tend to think sabotage. If it was the USA or not, dno, could be (and quite likely was, if indeed it was sabotage)

There may be industrial competition.

Based on past aggressive competitive commercial tactics employed by the alliance of American corporations, the U.S. Intelligence Community, and the Pentagon, aviation experts in Asia are wondering aloud whether the recent crash of the new Sukhoi Super Jet 100 in Indonesia was the result of high-stakes industrial sabotage engineered to protect Boeing’s lucrative commercial and military aviation market in Asia at the expense of a resurgent Russian aviation industry…

Special military forces nearby ?

Halim is where U.S. Special Forces troops have been training their Indonesian counterparts in various air force tactics, possibly including meaconing, intrusion, jamming, and interference (MIJI) electronic warfare tactics designed to interfere with aircraft navigation systems. Some of the training occurs every year as part of the EXERCISE COPE WEST, sponsored the Commander of the U.S. Pacific Command in Hawaii. Last year's exercise, COPE WEST 10, concentrated on simulated military operations against the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Air Force, which uses fighter jets designed and licensed by Sukhoi, including the Sukhoi 27 and Sukhoi 30.

Obama connection ?

On his last visit to Indonesia, President Obama inked a deal with Indonesia's Lion Air to sell 230 Boeing aircraft with a $22 billion loan guarantee from the U.S. Export-Bank (EX-IM Bank). Obama said the deal to supply Boeing aircraft to Lion Air would create 110,000 U.S. jobs. However, Sukhoi's entrance into the lucrative Indonesian commercial aviation market, which now has a number of competitors to the partly state-owned and safety record-plagued Garuda Indonesian Airlines, represented a threat to Boeing's business in the country and the Boeing deal worked out by Obama.

Was Industrial Sabotage at Play with Super Jet crash in Indonesia?

Mossad computer virus ?????
