Ron Paul haters and trolls only bash Ron Paul because they believed from the beginning he had no chance.....JUST LIKE THE MSM SPOUTED EVERYDAY since the Republican Primaries kicked off. Congratulations, you have officially become what you claim to despise.

Do you have a source for that?
It sounds like something you made up.
I have always had a problem with Ron Paul based solely on the things Ron Paul does and says in his own words and actions. None of it had to do with him having no chance. I also think many of his supporters are simple minded and ignorant.

Which reminds me, I clicked on this thread just to see what the hell a RONY was. I wonder if your friend Ronny would know?

Watch the second video....I don't know what else to tell you if that isn't source enough. Theres about 10 clips of random MSM anchors saying....."Hes unelectable...he can't win....he's a non topic". Unless you want me to thumb through endless threads quoting ATS members saying..."He won't win...you guys are crazy".

I don't support Ron Paul because I don't like his proposals and policies. Fair enough? Or do you want me to send you a formal apology?

Leaving it all to the states is a big double edged sword.

So ten people on tv = everyone who is not for Ron Paul?
Let me repeat one of my problems with him. I think his fans, followers, cult members, etc. are ignorant and simple minded. You know, the kind of people that would see 10 clips on tv from 10 tv personalities and claim that is how everyone who does not support Ron Paul thinks.

Hey, I can link you to several posts disputing your point completely right here in this thread. So again I will ask for your source on this. 10 people does not = everyone as you stated so where is your source for the quote I asked about?

I was not referring to the issue of slavery... slavery has nothing to do with state powers,

Yes it does. You see, blacks weren't legally considered citizens back then, heck they weren't even considered person(s), and the original constitution allowed states to legalize slavery. The founders themselves, while some being sympathetic to the abolitionist cause, recognized slavery as a valid and legal institution at the time.

All Ron Paul is saying, is that they should have MORE power...

At the expense of individual liberties, I get it. Ron Paul is for the maximization of state powers, not individual liberties, I understand.

You are twisting the facts

No, I'm saying it like it is. You can take it or leave it. I can't force you to see my point.

If some states want to make those decisions for themselves it is their RIGHT to choose those things

No it's not their right, and it should never be. It's none of the governments business to concern itself with whether or not a woman wishes to go through with an abortion. It shouldn't be the government's business to tell me what I can and cannot smoke, on my own private property. Maybe you are perfectly fine with an oversized State government, but I'm certainly not, neither am I with an oversized Federal government.

ALWAYS

SO FAR FROM THE TRUTH

Take some time out to try to understand my points alittle more.

Fair enough...minus the sarcasm. Leaving it to the states is what our Constitution says. I believe in the Republic. We do not have a Democracy as we have been led to believe.

Like I said, I'm just tired of the Anti-Ron Paul crew simply agitating a Ron Paul supporter threads by exclaiming, "He can't win you guys are so stupid LOL!!!!!!!!!!111!!!!1".

A few ATS members come to mind

Your basic argument still isn't any different from me. If fascism consumes this country, just more to Canada, eh? Just accept it, right? You're A-ok with states violating individual liberties, people just have to accept it? And you wonder why Paul isn't all that popular?

I also have no plans of being slowly oppressed over time by the Federal Government.

No, you want to be oppressed by State governments instead.

More power to the states is just something Libertarians and Conservatives like to use to rile people up. However people don't realize that corporations can far more easily lobby a state government than they can the federal government.

Womens Rights
Civil Rights and Environmental issues.

Those are some of the things the Federal Government had to take action over as result of States being oppressive. Especially with Civil rights.

"A conservative is a man with two perfectly good legs who, however, has never learned to walk forward. " - FDR

Leaving it all to the states is a big double edged sword.

Yeah and leaving it to one central body of idiots is a big double edged turd.

Clearly none of you have a cranium large enough to grasp the concept of decentralization.

Ever wonder why torrents are so robust and hard to destroy: decentralization.

What works better? Giving a problem to one group of people and asking them to solve it, or giving the problem to several different groups of people and seeing who comes up with the best solution?

What works better? Letting one corporate monopoly control an entire industry or having an array or corporations compete with each other in a fair environment?

What works better? Having one mainstream news station providing us with all the information we need to know or having an array of independent news sources provide us with varying slants and opinions?

DECENTRALIZATION IS SUPREME

Whether or not you completely agree with Ron Paul isn't the case. Calling us cult members is ignorant in itself. I can agree his platform is extremely simple minded. His platform is Liberty. He believes that it brings people with differing needs/wants together because everyone can agree on freedom. People are sick of the government telling them what to do and that unites us.

By the way, give Arizona more power and you'll have a mini-fascist state

Funny that you say that. I live in Upstate New York and I believe its one the most fascist states in the country. I can't wait to leave.

Cali, Illinois, and New Jersey are some of the worse.

I do not even know what to say to this that I could feel confident would be understood by the person that just wrote that.

So your opening post says that all the people that do not support Ron Paul think one way and you prove it by showing 10 people that say something sort of like what you claim all of them think. I ask you to back it up and you move on to something else. Then you claim people are posting that crap here. I ask about that and you say well...not at the moment in this thread....

Right. So none of what you say is based in reality then?

From a marketing perspective using the RONY 2012 tag line is a bad move. Most people have seen the KONY 2012 promotion and see it as a fraud. Why would you want to connect your brand with that campaign. Even if you are trying to get a different message across, it still carries the negative connotations of that KONY debacle.

Mostly the gun laws. Just recently New York Legislators are trying to pass a legislation barring Internet freedom of speech. They want it so people can't post anonymously anymore. New York just sucks man lol.

Oh not this again. Really? How many times do we have to say it?

GAH!

Fine, for the umpteenth millionth time, here's why I don't like Ron Paul's platform.

1. His stance on Abortion if enacted will make all abortions federal murder charges.

2. For some god knows reason he thinks that a $5000.00 tax credit will make up for the loss of income from a job when a poor person homeschools their children.

3. He's an open religious zealot who does the will of his god over the will of his constituents.

What side of history are you on? Oppression or Freedom?

I'll be on the side of freedom thank you, which means I won't be voting for Ron Paul.

Oh, this is a pro Ron Paul thread, which means that 12m8keall2c will let it stay right here in Political Madness instead of dumping it in the black hole that is Political Rivlary as he does with every single anti Paul thread.

Funny how that works isn't it?
