Observing one UFO/Alien incident, what would it be???

I would like to investigate the New Kensington, PA UFO crash. This is pretty close to where I live and the story has always been very intriguing because It is a sopposed UFO crash and really never saw the light of day as far as what happened. Everyone just knows it was an Acorn shaped craft w/ weird foreign symbols engraved on it. But really nothing else...Was it an alien craft? Were bodies retrieved from the craft....where was the craft and bodies put or stored? Why is this not a more popular case? Id love to have these questions awnsered.

I would like to know what truly happened at Roswell, but I believe I would instead want to see what took place during the Fatima incident of 1917. This case seems to be strong; as to what was really seen I have no idea.

I could not think of a better place to be than sitting in the cockpit of JAL Flight 1628 With a HD camcorder...
Or in the passenger seat of New mexico police officer Lonnie Zamora...Two cases that are
Hard to beat in any era.... oh and Rendlesham of course.)

What if one do in the far future our descendants unlock the key to travel back in time and actually discover that every incident they thought was aliens was actually caused by people from the future travelling back in time?

Anyway, I'd like to find out what really happened in an incident that enjoys a high profile in Wales and Northern England but no so much elsewhere.

The Incident is known as the

Berwyn Mountains case

23rd January 1974

In the small North Wales town of Llandrillo that night a loud bang was heard and strange lights were seen in the area of nearby Berwyn Mountain range sometime around 8:30pm. Reports from a number of witnesses described red and amber pulsing lights on a sort of egg shaped craft.

Details are documented in the UK national archives but the main points can be gleaned from the Gwynedd Police Constabulary Major Incident Log.

Explosion - 21.10pm PC receiving 999 calls of UFO. A witness who saw an object on the hillside reported: 'Saw bright red light, like coal fire red. Large perfect circle. Like a big bonfire. Could see lights above and to the right and white lights moving to bottom. Light changed colour to yellowish white and back again.' The Gwynedd police log said: 'There's been a large explosion in the area and there is a large fire in the mountainside. I am speaking from ... and can see the fire where I am.' Telex message to chief constable Gwynedd constabulary. 22.00pm approx 23/1/74: Saw bright green lights, object with tail - travelling west. Saw about Bangor direction - dropped down. At approx 10pm on 23/1/74: Saw a circular light in the sky at an estimated height of 1,500 feet. This object exploded and pieces fell to the ground. Mr xx.. estimates the pieces would have fallen into the sea between Rhyl and Liverpool.

Sighting

At the time it was feared there had been an aircraft crash of some sort. Local nurse Pat Evans contacted the police and was advised her assistance was welcomed after other reports of an explosion had been made around the North Wales area. She left home accompanied by her two daughters and made the journey towards the mountains in the belief she was going to help any survivors. She reports that she saw a red glow on a slope of Cader Berwyn and then smaller lights lower down the mountain which she assumed were a rescue team. That thought went in a moment as it struck her that no rescue team could have possibly responded that fast. Becoming puzzled and nervous of what she was witnessing Pat decided she could be of no assistance and turned round for home.

In the days following there were reports of a lot of military activity in the area and strange visitors to the surrounding villages questioning people over what they had seen.

The official story of events is that a meteor entered the earth's atmosphere over Britain accompanied by an earthquake registering above 4 on the Richter scale. Activity afterwards is attribute to visits from the Geological Survey teams. The lights seen were either from the meteor or earth lights created by the tremor . The smaller lights seen by Pat Evans were claimed to be poachers lamps. Also a trainer aircraft crashed in the area in 1982 and some locals (questioned well after the event) are said to have mixed this up with the original event 8 years earlier. Hence the claims of military roadblocks and other activity. Case closed from any official sources.

Operation Photoflash

However in the four decades since the incident, tales will not go away that this was a genuine UFO incident. It is even rumoured that there was a retrieval operation by British military and that alien bodies were recovered and taken to Porton Down. Whilst that story seems to be hearsay and lacks a reliable witness it has been revealed that a military operation called"Photoflash" was scheduled for the evening of January 23rd 1974.

A Marine and Coastguard document details that “ During the late afternoon and early evening of 23rd January 1974 there was an exercise from Jerby Range on the Isle of Man.

“ The exercise was called ‘Photoflash' and coastguards were advised to expect at least 10 aircraft taking part and at least 80 flashes around the Liverpool Bay area and the North Wales coastline .”

There is no more information from official sources and why it was commissioned for that day. Nor is it clear what the "flashes" were.

In the months preceding this event reports of "phantom helicopters" were being made by the public in Northern England. The main fear was these were flown by IRA terrorists, drug smugglers or possibly foreign spies. Reports in early January were coming in from the Cheshire and Derbyshire areas of England of a helicopter being flown at night low over the hills and dangerously close to power lines. Although investigations went on into the autumn of 1974 the perpetrators were never found.

A truly frustrating case to solve.

This case from 1980 would also be quite a sight to behold as a Peruvian Air Force pilot opened fire on a UFO with 64 explosive shells 'with little or no effect' - the unidentified flying object then went on to perform evasive manoeuvres..

I don't remember the name of it but there was this famous story of a family being terrorized by aliens all night after investigating a crashed UFO in the swamp... that would have been nuts

Exactly! Wow it was even crazier than I remembered

The seven people present in the farmhouse claimed that they were terrorized by an unknown number of creatures similar to gremlins, which have since often been referred to as the "Hopkinsville Goblins" in popular culture. The residents of the farmhouse described them as around three feet tall, with upright pointed ears, thin limbs (their legs were said to be almost in a state of atrophy), long arms and claw-like hands or talons. The creatures were either silvery in color, or wearing something metallic. Their movements on occasion seemed to defy gravity with them floating above the ground and appearing in high up places, and they "walked" with a swaying motion as though wading through water. Although the creatures never entered the house, they would pop up at windows and at the doorway, working up the children in the house to a hysterical frenzy..

Yes that is one scary case. A TV production of the incident was made back in the 1970s.

A quick search for " "Monsters of the UFO , Incident at Kelly" should bring up a number of sources for it.

It was also chronicled in the freely distributed online magazine "www.phenomenamagazine.co.uk..." . Find the back issues page and look for the November 2011 Issue 31 for this incident.

Not sure if this one has been posted yet not. But I will throw it out there none the less.

Lubbock Lights

The Lubbock Lights were an unusual formation of lights seen over the city of Lubbock, Texas, from August-September 1951. The Lubbock Lights incident received national publicity and is regarded as one of the first great UFO cases in the United States.

The air force went into a investigation but later dismissed the case like typical military fashion.

"They weren't birds, they weren't refracted light, but they weren't spaceships. The lights ... have been positively identified as a very commonplace and easily explainable natural phenomenon. It is very unfortunate that I can't divulge ... the way the answer was found.... Telling the story would lead to [the identity of the scientist who "finally hit upon the answer"] and ... I promised the man complete anonymity"

Very typical. I had not really read much about this one before so I found it pretty interesting and the lights would seem as though it could be a craft, but then again who really knows?
