Alex Grey is deeply associated with TOOL's album art and videos along with guitarst Adam Jones. I have read that Alex says that all of his art is given to him through and altered conciousness be it drug or trance induced. He essientaly gives credit for his art to outside beings guideing him while in alterd states.

this Lumonosity poster by the name of "Dan" .. was just a conspiracy theorist.. he lacks true spirituality, and the way he talks of it, as if he knows all about it and its wrong ?

Spirituality is not new age belief stuff channelled from aliens in other dimensions... its the Awareness of Self, the I AM mentality, the One connection to divine consciousness. I had meditated the other day to other 7hertz audio tracks and nothing had happened. As I was listening to the audio and getting deeper into meditation my head started to feel really weird and then how it feels when you are super nauseated. I took off the headphones and within about 6mins I threw up. On a twilight zone level note: since then I've been feeling less angry

If one were to really listen to Tool songs, one would find just how esoteric they are. Maynard (and possibly his band mates as well) seems to have figured a lot of stuff out especially in regards to consciousness and sacred geometry.

For example, the song "46 & 2" is about what is supposed to happen to our chromosomes once we reach a higher consciousness, a Christ consciousness, if you will.

The song "Lateralus" is all about the Fibonacci sequence. In fact, if you pay attention to the syllables for each lyrical phrase the pattern is the Fibonacci sequence. I also read that someone with experience discovered the drum beats in the song follow the same pattern:

"Black" 1 syllable

"then" 1 syllable

"white are" 2 syllables

"all i see" 3 syllables

"in my infancy" 5 syllables

"red and yellow then came to be" 8 syllables

The pattern then continues to wind down and back up between 8 and 5 syllables with a 13 syllable phrase in the middle

These are just two great examples. This thread has made me so incredibly anxious for the next album.

It has Officer Craig Steven's report about the indecent

On January 5, 2000 at approximately 4:28 AM 1, Officer Craig A. Stevens was on Patrol in the Village of Millstadt. I was monitoring radio traffic when I heard a report via CENCOM, that the Highland Police Department had a report of a large object flying in the air. CENCOM dispatched Lebanon P.D. to respond. I heard Lebanon state, is the guy 10-55.

Later I heard Lebanon state that he observed the object, and that it headed in the direction of Shiloh, and to have Shiloh P.D. be on the look out for it. I then heard that Shiloh had spotted the object.

I drove to the east end of town to see if I could observe the object. Then I drove to the north end of town, in the Liederkranz Park parking lot. While I was sitting there, I observed a very large flying object coming from a southward direction. The object was flying very low from 500 to 1000 ft., and was flying very slowly.

The object was making no noise. I could only hear a very low decibel buzzing sound. Then the object began banking to the north east direction, and continued to cruise away from me toward the area of Dupo.

I contacted dispatch, and advised them that I had spotted the object. I exited the patrol car, and took the Polaroid camera from the trunk, and attempted to take a picture. The camera was very cold. The temperature was only approximately 18 to 20 degrees outside, and the picture did not seem to exit the camera properly.

I heard Dupo P.D. advise CENCOM that they quite possibly observed the object, but it was at a very high altitude.

I returned to the station, and drew a rough sketch of the object, and typed a report of my observations.

I've spent a few hours trying to dig up the remaining parts of the story with no luck so far.

This police report matches up well with the writer's account; it appears there really was a UFO sighting in St. Clair County, Illinois in the first week of year 2000. Great find.

I've had personal experiences somewhat similar to what Tool's 'writer' describes:

In summary I had a series of visions/sleep paralysis incidents in my youth. The incidents all occurred before I had ever used any recreational drugs in my life, becoming more intense during a time period when I was trying to strictly follow the Christian religion.

Love the band and the topics covered in the source sure weave through some of my interests. I did notice that the source banned whoever wrote the material, which was posted back in '07 - so don't think those that are waiting for the next installment should hold their breath.

Tool have some of the best videos I have ever seen in my life.

I'm a fan of TOOL. However, for as much symbolism and esoteric provocative thought expressed, there's an equal amount of tomfoolery and nonsense. For instance, the song "Mantra" is just a cat slowed way down and mirrored. The song "Rosetta Stoned" kind of sums up how the band, or at least Maynard feels about being looked to for truth, insight, and illumination.

I wouldn't put too much weight into this story. For one, as mentioned above, TOOL likes to have fun, and secondly, this song is over 10 years old.

I'm a big Tool fan as well...but Maynard's no prophet. He is very smart (like a fox) and he uses his
public persona perfectly to make himself money.

Just go to youtube and search some of his earlier bands...Maynard is just a smart guy who knows how
to sell himself...and I'll buy the record, but not the BS
