As I was typing about carrots, another thought came to my mind. A thought I've had for several years.

Ever notice how the fruits and vegetables we eat are the perfect size for humans (and also animals) to hold and eat?

Nature is amazing to me. Just think of an apple (or carrot
) and how perfect the size is to hold and to eat?

It just shows me that everything is connected. We are all connected to The Universe and it's an amazing thing.

I wasn't sure what forum to put this under but I think "creation" is a good one because the things that have been "created" or "formed" in whatever way you believe all seem to be in balance with everything around us.

Me pondering again.

and what I realized upon reading your carrot thread is that everything that IS created, opposed to not,
comes into existance simply because it CAN.

The thing I really love about this post (and you stranger!) is how perfectly you describe something I was just thinking about! I was eating some particularly sweet, delicious grapes recently and had this same massive happy realization. I thought that our Earth must really love us to provide us such a perfectly designed package with nutrients and flavor. And I thought about other things that just grow for us to be well-nourished and happy. It was a massive combination of love and happiness exploding in my brain from eating grapes! I thought how we were all connected to each other and the planet in that moment and eating those grapes was fantastic.

Basically, I agree with you and now I really want some grapes.

Thanks friend!

I always wonder about these threads, we're connected with nature yet people are obviously typing it on a machine...

Haha, you just referenced banana man. "Dude the banana is perfect for the hand, OMG IT MUST BE DESIGNED!" Please explain the cactus and the coconut. One is crucial source of water in hot regions, and the other is extremely difficult to open without special tools. There's a reason we have to use forks and knives for most food. It's because it wasn't designed by anybody other than humans. And humans did actually design modern day bananas.

Ray? Is that you, Ray? It must be you, Ray. No one else would ever trot out the old Banana Fallacy. Right? Right. Say hi to Kirk for me, Ray.

I'm not Ray and I've never heard of "the banana fallacy."

I am a just a person who has things come to mind
that I wonder about.

Thanks again for your replies. I just sometimes come up with weird questions. But, questions that intrigue me.

And guess what was used to create these machines? Guess what these machines are made out of? Are you seeing the connection yet?

Fruits evolved so that seeds could be spread by mammals through their digestive systems. No wonder they aren't the sizes of 3 story buildings.

Everything comes from the natural world. Machines are built from materials processed from raw materials. Raw materials come from the natural world.

Theres the connection.

Whether you are a creationist or a big bang believer, everything came from one single point of existence. EVERYTHING.

Should also be mentioned that everything you buy in stores now, are cultivated through several hundreds (and thousands in some cases) of years. None of out current vegetables and fruits look exactly like they did in nature, and in some cases are *very* different to their original counterparts.

Designed, yes, but by humans through selective breeding.
