Shure.

Ron Paul's consistency is a big thing for me. The fact that Romney is clearly more of the same big government, frankly scares me and some others I know. Beyond that, there seems to be a lot of closeted Ron Paul supporters within the party. Whether he can win or not, is hard to say but it's looking more believable. His policies, as drastic as some would be, will in the long run help regain the status of the United States as an economic leader of the free world with a message of peace. Based on his voting record, he would be one of the first presidents in a very long time to exercise his power of repeal, which is sorely needed.

My wife, stepson, and I just voted for Ron Paul yesterday in Kentucky. Two of our friends also voted Ron Paul because of our influence and I just hope it will do some good!

I said it before, I'll say it again:

In the general election, the competition will be between Paul and Obama while Romney only has the voters that voted for him in the Primaries. He will not attract Democrats or Independents...Paul however will (including myself).

Romney might get the nomination, but he won't come close to Paul in the voting booths in November.

But everything coming out of the Paul camp indicates that he is staying in the Republican party which means he won't run as an independent in the general election and will have to at least nominally endorse Romney.

I didn't say he would run as an independent. He'll stay in the race and won't endorse Romney for obvious reasons (HE'S STILL RUNNING).

I'm saying Paul has independent votes along with Democratic votes, unlike Romney who will mainly have his voters who supported him in the Primaries.

Ron Paul has consistently polled low in popular support among Republicans, but he wasn't beaten by Romney or any of the other candidates who out polled him among mainstreet Republicans. He was beaten by the mainstream media that did everything it could to sabotage his campaign and to pretend that he didn't exist.

His strategy is not aimed at outfoxing ordinary Republicans and robbing them of the candidate they want. It is aimed at outfoxing the people who control the mainstream media who did everything they could to turn him into an unperson (Orwellian term.) during this campaign.

If Romney is voted in on the first ballot at the convention, I think there will be a major disruption on the floor. It could be that Romney would have been the nominee even if the mainstream media and segments of the Republican Party had not played so dirty, but there will still be a very sour feeling among Ron Paul supporters.

If this happens I hope that RP supporters play nice and push hard for the naming of Dr. Paul as Romney's running mate. I think that is the only way, barring the unforseen, that Romney can win in November.

romney is going to be shamed at the convention, and if he squeaks thru, Obama will shame him, either way he is screwed.

People who dont like Ron Paul are like the red necks in the 60s that sat home while their cool friends went to woodstock and had a blast. Then the red necks rebelled against their cool friends for years after cause they missed the revolution.

I wonder if people realize that this 'sneaky' way of Paul stealing delegates is just the same thing as Romney supporters just not giving a crap. I mean they could be out in force too if people were really that concerned about Mitt winning. Face it, Romney just doesnt have the real life human support that cares about change and fixing this country. If he did, his supporters would be outnumbering Pauls, simply because they would care more......oh right, Romney only has money, TV, and polls showing he is winning, when Paul has the actual delegates in the right spots, the massive amount of people at his rallies, and people who really and truly care about how screwed up this country is. Yeah sometimes a small group who is involved DO have more insight then people not paying attention, I would rather have some one involved guide us, then people who just picked a lead man because they were too lazy to get out and do something themselves. I would surmise that THOSE are the crazy people, the ones only willing to pick and choose, but not actually life a finger to see things through....YAY gooooo MITT...........HAHAHAHAHAHA

Really though RP'12

Wow Sir or Lady; THAT is the BEST political insight I have seen, no bull s*** on ATS or almost any site it hits the issue dead on the danger becoming ominous. Seen ties in a serious concern I on this issue & site have never read.Oh gang whats critical for this election for a political person is the ability to unfold passion in The People. And get you&others out in FORCE? Major league. Passion. And that means rational people being logical, in making people bust their butt's working for not a slogan, an ideal.

Have a PRINCIPLE, NOT a campaign slogan. Please explain as sign off; "Really through RP'12"? Is that about Dr. P, in 2012 or something/one else? Any insight from other's on such serious and important issue's for our time for our, or any time is important for all us us. I do my best gathering wisdom/insight from others, "ITS" SO important w/consequences for Earth being one of many, as are we all, can almost learn from each others views. We sometimes don't like what we hear, or turn over a rock and see, and get that holy of holies in anything; hopefully education and ideas. We learn from others.
You sound very passionate about what matters. Damn straight it gets that to get one off their butts, and THAT wins elections.Period. [Please see my previous post this on OP for additional clarification.] I also think allergic to others "idea-gestalt's", or even just simple one topic of one platform's. Then you get the reason why so many people have bocu interest for any ONE so-called issue and aspect only. Bad very bad, anyone vote's for. Love to hear your comments on this, anyones and even those that I don't like (can you see the GOP mouth piece, Fox news, and the Fox Business channel for the "the news" Augmented Blend" Not coffee, but net, etc

I really think that Judge Napolitano's program which was strong libertarian, Fox Politburo did not like, obviously. To rational a man the judge.

Anything people really need to know is some times I just add to zed pile don't at all with SO much on Fox, but never limiting me to one ideology on any network, is so a great way for me NOT TO learn. avoid offensive Fox, one like, needs to study other perspectives. Must comment on "mad"?: Not UK-HRM's verbiage. But "angry" in USA language variant, substitute "angry" is "mad" to UK, and any UK/Aussie++anyone else using Queens English friends, and many UK relatives.

Romney having only major dollars and all other possible options. The cold, or fabric room temp., as in paper money, unless you put in ones the freezer the freezer, remember him? Off shore "tax shelters". and most likely the usual suspects... Enough of that "run tape on definitions, sources and methods, so pathetic SO dangerous, he must kiss, as I mentioned in my posts, bullies are cowards and God help literally the whole world if "metamorph/chameleon Mitt? After 11/4/2012 I don't care. Remember what happened when people voted for Nader in 2000? And he had almost no chance of winning. Ron Paul people, and I do like the mans policies and I never patronize. It took the supreme court to screw us and not the 1person1 vote.

One last comment for all? Those who don't want another

There is only one way Ron Paul is 'winning' anything and that is by strong arming delegates against the decisions of their constituents. Yea, something really to be proud of, right? Romney won over 6 million votes thus far, Ron Paul has less than a third of that. In two of the States, Maine and Minnesota, where Ron Paul gained the delegates, the majority of the voters in those states did not choose to go with Paul.

There's nothing here to celebrate for Paul supporters in my eyes. Paul better do something about his nutty supporters, before they damage Romney's prospects. Ron paul has to decide whether he is willing to risk Rand Paul's future prospects for the nomination all for the sake of the delusions of his supporters.

LOL. "Strong Arming their constituents" LOL

Friend, I see that you have the Statue of Liberty as your avatar, and that you believe you understand how the political system of the United States operates...but you need to do yourself a favor and hit the books again.
We have a REPRESENTATIVE DEMOCRACY. The United States is NOT A PURE DEMOCRACY.
I repeat - THE UNITED STATES IS NOT A PURE DEMOCRACY - it never has been, and it never will be.

Democracy allows mob rule. Mob rule tramples on the rights of the minority. Fact. This is why we have a representative system. You can define "minority" in many different ways - by class, sex, sexual preference, skin color, income range, philosophical ideals and many other ways. It's well known that our founding fathers were a minority among colonists who were VERY against a war with England. Are you going to accuse our founding fathers of strong arming the colonists into fighting the Revolutionary war the results and freedoms of which you now enjoy?

During the civil rights movement, the majority of Americans didn't really oppose segregation and thought of it as a natural way of life. Had they had a vote on it, you can bet it would have stayed that way. In hindsight we both know segregation was wrong. Should we have supported the majority then too?
Sounds pretty hypocritical to me.

Furthermore, the caucus system is NOT broken, and it is (for the most part) working as it should. If a cause is worthy enough to cause you to get up, get informed and get involved to effect the change you desire, than the founding fathers supported that. What they wanted to avoid was a quick decision made by an uninformed mass of people who get up once to go cast a vote of which they or may not be properly informed.

Also, I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume that you don't trust Mass Media. I'd find it hard to believe someone who posts on a Conspiracy forum believes everything they are fed from the main stream media. If that's true, then you should know the majority of Americans watch and take almost ALL of their information from MSM. Whoever controls MSM, controls the message, and whatever the message is, the mass majority of Americans will accept it as truth. For this one reason alone I would think that you would SUPPORT a Representative system rather then a pure Democracy.

Deny ignorance friend.

RON PAUL....real hope, real change.

He will win because we as a country desperately need him. We need to break away from the globalist ponzi scheme called the New World Order. We need to break away from the all-seeing eye of the Babylonian corporate pyramid.

Freedom is what makes the Eagle soar high.

You say its over for Ron Paul. Not true. Alot can happen between now and August 27. Romney could suddenly be found out for supporting an $8.5 billion ponzi scheme that bilked thousands of unweary investors. Um, maybe that's why the New York Times is starting to report on Romney's connections to the Stanford Group. They know Romney can't win, and they will torpedo him as a crony capitailist which is what he is.

Ron Paul supports free enterprise. Romney supports bail outs, ponzi schemes, secretive central banks, off shore financing and corrupt capitalism.

Republicans need to wake up and demand that Ronney get out of the way of the true leader of conservatism. Ron Paul.

Of course he will, because he's desperate and Ron Paul is just chillin and going with truth all the way. Mitt is freaking, and Ron is having the coolest head anyone can have.

Ron Paul and his son will always be in my good book.
