It looks like the "birthers" are in for another disappointment and setback.

Arizona Secretary of State Bennett has apologized for embarrassing the State of Arizona and his racism that he let out a few days back.

Bennett Said : "“If I embarrassed the state, I apologize, but that certainly wasn’t my intent,”

tpmmuckraker.talkingpointsmemo.com...

Read the article for more about how Bennett has retreated.

Its amazing how 1 man can embarass an entire state.

Its amazing how 1 man can give Obama Arizona in the win column come Nov 2nd.

Latest polls show Obama tied with Mittens Romney in Arizona.

Bennett also said: “He’ll be on the ballot as long as he fills out the same paperwork and does the same things that everybody else has.”

hahahahahahahahahhaahhahaha

lol too bad birthers

you go down again!

He has not stopped asking Hawaii for Obama's BC, however.

No state has the right to override the laws of another state for their fantasies.

What did I say? Bennett will only go so far to appeal to his birther constituents, this was all for show and that's it. Silly man.

It's not about who started it, it's about being dumb enough to buy into it. Anyone with half a brain knew that this birther crap was just that, a long time ago and anyone who is still hanging on to it is dumber than a box of rocks. No ones blaming anyone for starting anything, what we're doing is calling them stupid for buying into it.

I'm not exactly sure who started the birth conspiracy, but regardless, those on the fringe right have taken it on and owned it. You cannot blame anybody else for the beliefs and conspiracies theories people choose to spread, that's just silly. People need to learn to do research and think objectively, and birthers are incapable of doing this.

Exactly. Phil Berg was the first attorney to bring it up, and he was Hillary Supporter. The Hillary Pumas were into it. But they backed off after O got elected, and then Progressives attacked conservatives on it.

It is anyone who refuses to look at facts and will go along to get along. Anyone who reads headlines and tries to say this is the story. These are the people that are dumber than rocks. If you wan to to be in denial and have your head in the sand to the reality go for it. However stop the name calling just because you are too lazy to investigate.

Well if people had watched the video there was some interesting information of who believes what.

But hey pay no nevermind to that.

The video actually has nothing to do with the topic, the fact that Bennett jumped the birther ship. Stop blaming the beliefs of birthers on others. Nobody is forcing you to be a birther, nobody is forcing you to spread misinformation, you are doing this yourself, willfully.

Now do you actually have something to add to the topic of the thread?

No it's not. The topic is about Bennett apologizing for birthing. In no part of the OP is a poll mentioned.

25 percent believe he was not born here.

18% of Americans apparently also believe Obama is muslim:
pewresearch.org...

40% of the population polled are young earth creationists:
www.patheos.com...

I could go on, I can throw all sorts of polls at you.

Now do you actually have something to contribute to the actual topic? The fact that Bennett apologized?

This thread title is blatantly false. The Arizona Secretary of State has not backed off anything. This is a troll thread.
