If the end is nigh will ATS have contingency plans for a real crisis management?

If the end is nigh or whatever, will ATS remove all bans and let everyone sign on for a final good bye or more importantly to give information/ guidance? If like another major event happened , it would be wise to have a quick post option for non-members who are searching for information and/or can provide information relevant to people affected.

Basically a nonsense question. But really though. Let's say a huge meteor is coming right at us. Will ATS let everyone who was ever banned sign on like once to say good bye. Like an email be sent out to all members ever with a onetime invitation to sign on and maybe wish the world luck or guidance?

I am sure a selective list of "not even if the world was ending" would be made and filtered. LOL.

I know the internet being up and open would be an issue but if possible, would it happen? It would be nice if everyone came on one last time to give guidance and help should our survival/ extinction or whatever come into question. I know if I was online looking for information on something going on near me I would check ATS at some point for info.

People doing the same who are not members should have a quick post enabled in threads about a breaking crisis. The Mods could review each post beforehand. Perhaps a quick post thread about said event from people who are just droping.

Posting anonymously is nice for certain issues that may be "immediate" and "pressing".
Sometimes all you want to do is pass something along no strings attached. The Mods could just review each post before or require each to leave an email atleast.

You need to read the "Survival" forum. Add it to your favorites, and follow what they say in there. Lot's of good advice.

ATS is toast if the SHTF. Most of the internet is. There will be little time to say final hurrahs to anyone.

That said, this thread has nothing to do with the way ATS currently operates, the OP is speculation, and not addressing an actual issue with ATS. BBQ is not the place for this thread.

If TSHTF, the last place I'd check is here. I'd be bugging.

This is when private exclusive p2p networks hijacking sat systems comes into play. Something you wont hear mentioned in any media but is a real case scenario.

Still though, for a drawn out event. I mentioned a meteor. If like in 8 months we detected an absolute threat to our existence. A drawn out event like the Iran hostage situation. etc........

Crisis might not consist of resorting to plan B. Any plan and preparation might be thrown out the window. It's good to be prepared but if you had time on your hands and the "event horizon" had not reached you yet, what would you use the internet for?

You are in your bunker community, ok. Then what? You still have an internet connection and you do what for a long drawn our period of time?

An epidemic, bio hazard or something like that?

If SHTF, the last thing I would be worried about is making my last post on the internet lol.
