It sounds as if he didn't take proper care after the surgery, it says he didn't do as he should have. Sounds like it's his own damned fault. I mean I'm sorry he lost his bits, but how is it the drs. fault that he didn't do what he was supposed to. And I can't imagine he wasn't given the whole spiel about surgical risks and care afterwards. Sounds like his own vanity and stupidity caused this. I wouldn't award him anything, but I feel sorry for his wife.

Frankly, in a society that is all about getting you in and out quickly, how much of it is really up to the doctor to make sure you spend adequate time in the hospital?

Using a disinfectant like Tea Tree Oil does wonders too. Problem is that only so many doctors know about it, or how to use it, or what grade it needs to be. Doctors cannot know everything.

I wouldn't want to wait around to see if the ozonation worked.
I was infected with MRSA by a mosquito bite on my finger. The infection progressed very rapidly, to the point that the doctor that performed the surgery on my hand told me that if I had waited another hour before going to the hospital, I would have lost my hand.
It is not something to play around with.

Anyways, That is what the media does. You may think things are running rampant, but when a story becomes headline news, a point of interest (who decides those points?), the media picks up with whatever similarities they can find and run with it.

Actually, it is running rampant. There's one article that said there were 42 cases of necrotitis faciitis (flesh eating bacteria) last year. 33 were in Georgia and 7 in South Carolina.

The Georgia man for this year got it in his groin. He contended to catch it while "mowing the lawn" and allegedly cutting his groin while mowing the lawn.

MEANWHILE Mexico media is reporting alleged flesh eating bacteria in its water supply, while simultaneously not publicly releasing any stats. Not saying if men or women catching it. And not publicly releasing if any penis or groin cases.

THEN there's the "closely related" things that flesh eating can be labelled under. The obvious would be leprosy which also eats away at people's flesh. Once again, Mexico media reporting that Sinaloa (of the Sinaloa drug cartel which ships over the Arizona border) is "first" in leprosy.

The one I'm wondering about is this odd Texas case, where a teenage girl has a flesh eating disease, but rather than it being labelled the flesh eating bacteria, it was called "a fungus". Thing is...they labelled it Pythiosis, which is a rare microbe only found in Thailand that never infects humans, only animals. Don't see how a fungus from Thailand could infect a teenage Texan girl. They claim she caught the fungus in a swimming pool. (crass) I have to wonder if it was something else that they are just covering for because the Thailand fungus just doesn't make sense.

Doesn't sound like isolated incidents to me. Groins, penises ... and they claim "drinking water", swimming pools and hospitals. Doesn't make sense at all, now does it? Groins and penises usually means sexually transmitted though.
