Solar Eclipse (Images from around the world) and Pleiadian Alignment – May 20th

Today, May 20/21st, 2012, for the first time in 26,000 years, the Sun and Moon, and the constellation responsible for our spiritual evolution and ascension, the mystic Pleiades, will align in a spectacular, full Annular Solar Eclipse and a rare solar eclipse alignment will happen between the Earth, the Sun and, our central Sun, Alcyone in the Pleiades Constellation.

Cloudy sky's here in st. Louis MO. BUT I did get a rainbow that was able to pop through during the eclipse!

Just saw it from central west coast. Light is funny. Dim. Shadows on the ground are diffuse and fuzzy. The color of the sky is flatter and a third of the sun is missing. Awesome. Logging off to go look some more.

I saw it here in New Mexico it was awesome! I had a pair of the sun viewing glasses so that made it alot better. I don't have any pics though. Wish I did though

On topic, those are some captivating pictures! I wish I could've been where it was visible. What a sight it must've been in person!

We just got through watching the eclipse. It was AWESOME!! I tried taking pics with my cheapo digital camera, but because I didn't have a special filter on it, they didn't come out. But, trust me, it was very eerie.

It got dark, the wind kicked up and it suddenly cooled off about 5 degrees. The "ring of fire" was neat to see. Our cats started to get weird, a few just sat there and meowed incessantly, the rest started running around like they were getting bursts of energy. It was strange, it felt "different", but totally cool.

I have never seen one in my 50 years of life, and I am glad I was living in the zone that made it possible to see it 100%.

Yes! Except it was a clear sky here. It was totally worth waiting the hour for the full eclipse.

I actually just erased it because I thought it was too out there for a Sunday night. I'm happy you found value in it.
I'm sure you're right about the whole "seeing faces in nature" phenomenon, but I'm also seeing an image in the sun, too, and I'd really like to know the name of the artisit or where the website obtained this picture. I always like to see when an artist may be adding in their own creativity and I think this is one of those instances.
