The group is among the biggest-selling groups of all time with hits spanning six decades including Stayin' Alive, How Deep Is Your Love, Massachusetts and Night Fever.
Robin Hugh Gibb, CBE (22 December 1949 - 20 May 2012) was a singer and songwriter. He is best known as a member of the Bee Gees, co-founded with his twin brother Maurice and elder brother Barry.

Sorry to ruin your pop culture parade, but I fail to see what is 'alternative' or 'under reported' or 'conspiratorial' about this news of a popular music singer dying.
But... it looks like he's no longer staying alive! huh? Huh?
