Wow! I actually laughed out load when I read that one. So the building essentially puked its innards out the holes in the southern side. Interesting theory.

NIST pretty much lays out the collapse sequence from the top down in this diagram




I see that the "inexplicable dust puffs" and windows blowing out under the penthouse are practically in-line with the support columns. Fire would have had to basically liquify the columns to cause the collapse that happened. Otherwise, where were the columns in the wreckage? Did they fold like accordions or what? What made them so weak or break into pieces if it was not explosives? Where was all the black smoke from rampant "office fires" that should have been coming up and out after the penthouse collapsed in?

One of these is not like the others

Funny how all the columns apparently turned to dust before the outer walls collapsed...

I think he must have been confused. If someone tells me something happened but that something is either impossible or nobody's ever heard of any way to make it happen, then I tend to think they're confused.

Do you believe him, and therefore the inference, that a big fraction of the steel turned to 'microscopic dust'? If so, why?

I've heard of a cover up, but explosives don't turn steel into dust. When I said I hadn't heard of anything, I mean literally nothing I have ever heard of could do it. Steel tends to deform and bend rather than break apart into little chunks, so you'd have to do something crazy like try and cryogenically shatter it. Obviously that didn't happen on 911

You haven't watched the video of the "collapse" of the spire?

I don't discuss it because I can't explain it. You end up arguing with people telling you that you don't see what you do see. So I just stick with simple physics that grade school kids should understand and adults have to explain how they can pretend it is "junk physics". Not having steel data on skyscrapers which held themselves up for 28 years. Ridiculous!

Engineering schools that can't build collapse models.
