Time for me to take a break.

You're not alone.... I'm planning a note with a bit more on my end, but I'm with you. The threads you speak of just reaffirmed a decision I came to yesterday while out busting my butt for info to share and maybe save some people endless grief or their lives in Chicago. After this Summit is done and I've done what I feel I can to DO something, anything, to help mitigate what I think is building up there...I'm out for at least the month of June. Enough is Enough...and hey, there really IS a point where the celebration of the misery upon others while rooting for even more gets to be too much, eh? The ignorance this morning was just icing on a real nasty cupcake of Yuck lately.

Go well..and I hope you'll be back at some point. I know I've enjoyed your posts and occasional support you've tossed my direction on the odd thread or two we happened to share views across.

Have to admit that sometimes this isnt the most healthy forum I know heheh - I take long breaks and go visit my cars forums to put my mind off of it, so I do understand you.

I was going to give you a fuunyism but do us a favor and stick it out, There are times when posts from you and wrabbit are the ONLY logic in a thread. I stay because newer members like you keep it real. do what i do and take a weekend off every now and then. i have seen(or read) it all here and you make a difference.

BTW if you break it down, you have posted every 37 minutes since you first logged on to ATS. A weekend off is necessary!

When a Forum Moderator even refers to ATS as a nuthouse...thats bad.

No longer an intellegent site discussing conspiracies, and things "Top Secret"..its become a widely-disparaged unrelated experince of bashings, ranting and "oh yeahs?" from people living in their portable IPhone, Tablets and video-game realities.

More and more this site has become a no-holds barred say what you will about anything site of a majority of youngsters, jump-the-guns-it-has to be true posters.

"What to say to "the Aliens" (proof they exist 1st rt?)
"There ARE jobs out there!" (What world does this probably employed themselves livin in?)My wifes been looking for 2 YEARS and even McDonalds isnt hiring..ANYONE)
"R Paul will win...when NONE of the candidates have made it to the Conventions yet)

And on it goes.

Its become a lot worse around here like GLP. Who would have thought....

I know just what you mean, Des. I had to take a break for a few weeks. It was nice not to get aggravated and incensed. Sometimes you just gotta walk away from the arguing, insults, and crazy trolling.

Got my head screwed on straight again and I am back, centered and mellow.

Breaks are good. Doing battle and standing your ground gets tiring after a while.

While taking a break now and then can be a good thing....it's also a good thing for members to alert us to threads that get to you....if they are potentially violating the rules.

ATS is a big place....and no one is going to see everything.....we mods are human and really, truly only have one set of eyes just like the rest of the members

Chances are, if a thread is bothering you, it should be looked at by staff.
