it seems to me that the implication of the scene I posted suggests that the moon and sun you saw in the scene corresponds to the priest holding the knife (the moon) and Apocalypto (the sun). since the eclipse from the movie was a ring of fire, like the one coming tomorrow, perhaps the priest decided no to proceed because such an eclipse was a sign of catastrophic destruction for the moon. perhaps if the eclipse had been total the priest would have proceeded without pause. but this information is lost on our time period...don't you agree?

furthermore to that, in all cases where humans have been fascinated by the courses of heavenly bodies its only been to the extent that a direct connection between the course of the planets and stars and human events. for what other reason would such an academic discipline be allowed to exist? other than one that could allow men to take control of their own destiny.

so you see...no person in history has ever believed that the Sun, the yellow ball of plasma, was a God, but only that at least one human being has a connection to it...perhaps Seven human beings. and that the moon is not a god, but that one human being is likened unto it and in fact lives on earth as a created being.

I am not sure how you can interpret the behavior of a Maya priest in a film, yet at the same time, tell me that I am making faulty assumptions about their culture. I get that there is symbology there, it is not lost on me. But I think you are infusing personal opinion into the conversation, too. The belief that the sun was an actual god is documented in various cultures. I am not posturing an opinion, I am offering up fact. I have studied art history, anthropology, and world history as part of my degree and I am just telling you what I have learned, sans personal opinion. This goes for many ancient cultures, not just the Maya.

when i look at the image, I conclude that the image is a representation of Genesis 1:14/15

Funny. My local news (Chicago area) had a segment today about how NATO is COSTING so much money.
People have to close down stores. The baseball game tomorrow will have record low attendance. People are intimidated by it, by the security, the police presence.
So no one really wants to come to Chicago.

Sometimes people do pick up on them. How about 9/11. Many people predicted that event to happen. Including the late William Cooper. He predicted 9/11 then the authorities gunned him down on November 5th 2001 outside his home because he was right and the people realised he predicted a False Flag attack.

I can't speak for the OP, but I know that when I talk about ritual and such as far as the NWO are concerned, you should in NO WAY take offense. I'm former Wicca and I completely understand how neo-pagans use ritual. And I'm sure you know that there's white and black magic. Just because something takes a similar form doesn't mean it serves the same purpose. The NWO is evil and their rituals are not your rituals. Anyone who knows anything about the occult knows that. They use the same power sources for ill intent. That in no way reflects on what you do. Folks pointing out astronomical and astrological factors that make certain places and times good for NWO ritual is in no way lumping your activities in with theirs.
