I don't think Israel is a Democracy.

Only full bloods get top Gov. seats right? I don't think they care too much about half blooded Israeli's.
Also Democracies don't steal peoples homes to put full blooded people into new homes built there after the bulldozers did their deed.

They haven't set up any kind of infrastructure, no clean water, and their only food is emergency rations. Not to mention Israel performs ethnic cleansing daily.

I am glad that people are not being dazzled by the Israeli propaganda machine to the extent of blinding them to the truth. Those who think everything bad said about Israel is anti-semetic will be along shortly, if they haven't been around yet. Since for the most part you guys and gals seem to agree that Israel is Devil incarnate, why don't you observe a few, minor, mundane facts about this big scheme, and see it as the farce it is. So first of all, the poll included only 16 countries, with the addition of the EU. Which is already a warning sign. Let's continue: no Arab country was included(!). No African country was included(!). (With the exception of South Africa) Even Turkey didn't make it to the list. Oh, and it only gets better: only two Muslims countries were included -- Iran and Pakistan, both scoring lower than Israel, as well as NK.

The poll reflects anti-Semitic ('oh noes! he's got us! quick, activate denial mode: "I'm only anti-Zionist, but I love Jews, nevermind most of them are, in fact, what I call Zionists". Profit!') media-bias, which has persuaded many decent and indecent people alike that Israel is pure evil. No, let me answer it: every time Israel is mentioned, you recall all the blood libels about murdering babies and other nonesense, and therefore, every topic about Israel is the same for you: one-sidedness, based on false premises. But you know, I have some free time, so let me address you point by point:

Regarding the tribes: first of all, I'm an atheist, and I don't believe in these mythical tribes. Second of all, according to the legend, the Jews are not just the tribe of Judah, but also of Simon, Levi, and Benjamin -- the tribes of the southern Kingdom of Judah. Now, where are they today, huh? What tribes are you talking about? They don't exist in the real world, and probably have never actually existed.

Regarding Ashkenazim: again, they are no different than other Jews. So first, remember that most Israelis are not Ashkenazim, so your argument is wholly invalid anyway. Second: Ashkenazim are Jews who lived in Germany; Sepharadim are Jews who lived in Spain; Mizrahim are Jews who lived in Arab countries. All of them are Jews, and there is a proven genetic link between all of them.

Regarding anti-Semiticm: in modern use, the term denotes the harassment of Jews on ethnic and/or racial basis. You have listed 3 meanings to the term Semitic, but only referred to the third meand. How convenietly. Anyway, anti-Semiticm is used interchangable with Jew-hatred. Do you condone Jew-hatred?

Regarding US dollars and US support: no-one is naive. The Americans aid Israel with very few dollars per year, which only amount to 2% of the Israeli GDP. There's no naivety: the Americans aid Israel because it is the American interest to have an island of democratic stability in the Middle-East as their ally. If it had been against America's interests, the aid would have ceased to exist along, long time ago.

Regarding violations of international law: did you know that during the Iran-Iraq war, 2 million Muslims have dies? But the whole world would rather be focused on tiny Israel than only ACTUAL crimes against humanity committed by dozens of Islamic nation, all of which fly under the radar of international "human rights" activists. If you care about human rights, go to Syria, where there is actual slaughter.

Regarding Iran: Iran's nuclear program is a threat regardless of the prospect of Iran striking anyone with nukes. If Iran "turns a blind eye", a nuclear bomb may arrive in, say, the Us. You wouldn't want that to happen, right? Such a threat should be dealt with accordingly.

Regarding the treatment of Gentiles in Judaism: I have never claimed that Judaism is a correct religion. It is indeed racist in its core. However, you may like to know that 40% of Israeli Jews are secular, and 20% define themselves as atheists. As you see, Israel is still a somewhat secular state, and although there is indeed an undeniable religion cancer in Israel, as in everywhere, you can't blame all of the Jews for that, as many Jews don't follow the religion of Judaism.

Regarding favoritism: that's a matter of interests. If the US has an interest in keeping Israel as an ally -- and it certainly does -- then as a direct consequence to that realization, the US may provide its ally with some resources, as allies do. Israel offers the US training ground, the protection of military bases, etc. That cooperation and collaboration. It's not a question of morality, only of objectives.

Regarding the treatment of Palestinians: here you are immeres with blood libels, and unless you can muster anything objective which proves even a single word of this rubbish, you won't recieve any response in relation to that. There's no point arguing with overt lies, and the whole "baby murderers" lie is insane as it is absurd.

Regarding the protests: it's a minority that actually objects to the current government. While many Israelis despise the 'dirty trick' played by Shaul Mofaz to enter the coalition of the government, there's no question regarding the legitimacy of the state of Israel among the vast majority of Israel. This issue is moot. Seriously, can't you find some better arguments than these pavlovic responses?

People need to stop associating any attack against the barbaric Israeli Apartheid state with "Jew Hating".

I'm glad most of us are aware of this mind game many people try to play.

Even the most hardcore ATS pro Israeli shills have been hard to find lately, I think they have finally given up. We have a few tag alongs, but their effectiveness is minor at best.

There are many reason as to why Israel is losing popularity among the general population, the main one being that censorship of media is no longer capable due to advancements in technology such as the internet, in my opinion it was always obvious anyways.

To be fair, I would rather live in Israel than NK, but at least NK will look you in the face and tell you the truth before they screw you. Israel will do it in the name of "democracy" LOL
