If BHO was allowed to become a president despite all the evidence that is surfacing now, I think someone let it happen on purpose or nobody bothered to do the homework on the pre-requisite to become a president
OR...you seem to have forgotten one very important option....he is actually a natural born citizen.
Funny how you just seemed to leave that one out.

Could there be a reason for this? Could it be that it would be too obvious how a case of mistaken identity or slip of tongues happen?

For those who want to bash the birthers, maybe you should consider this:
Fed Court: Obama Eligibility Question “Important and Not Trivial”
libertylegalfoundation.org...
“The Court finds that the federal question presented, the meaning of the phrase ‘natural born citizen’ as a qualification for the Presidency set out in Article II of the Constitution, is important and not trivial.”
“The issue of whether President Obama is constitutionally qualified to run for the Presidency is certainly substantial.”
“It is clear that the stated federal issue of President Obama’s qualifications for the office are ‘actually disputed and substantial.’”
If a Federal Court can express these opinions perhaps all that yell: "Get Over It." should recognize the merits of these efforts for now and for the future of this country.
Wow...that is hilarious...the same court that issued a 12 page response...and you chose to excerpt 3 sentences that say...People have challenged his citizenship...and citizenship matters...while excluding the other 12 pages?
Perhaps you could have linked to the other 12 pages where the Judge painfully explains that YES...President Obama was born here and the evidence being presented is BS?edit on 21-5-2012 by Indigo5 because: (no reason given)

When Obama was elected POTUS, i was doing high fives, not because i thought his policies would change America and the world at large, but because i thought in my naive optimism, that now America have elected a Black man (however privileged and socially placed) to the highest public office in the Nation...things would begin change for the people of the world on a more humanist level.
A fairer, more honest and equitable way of all of us relating to each other not just in terms of black and white, red or yellow, but nation to nation, religion to religion, male to female, old to young, rich to poor, intelligent to ignorant..on every human level where a percieved difference is used as a reason or more often an excuse to subject people to cruelty and violence. To hold people back and deny progession and advancements offered to others thought to be more similar.
I was niave of course, but sometimes hoping for something is enough.
Where i believe most people stand and react to this entire issue, from a feeling of suspected betrayal.
I was niave of course

I will write in Ron Paul. I will not vote for Obromney or Rombama.
He is a man who was born in Hawaii and the first African-American President of the Untied States.

Great way to convince the public. America bought the lie so well they didn't even check it out.
This vetting process is a sham.
Your typo: Untied States, yeah, we sure got untied didn't we?

Then you will have cast a vote for two candidates
One for Ron Paul who has no chance of winning.
One vote for Obama because you did not place a vote for the candidate who can beat him.

Pathologizing dissent is an Orwellian tactic and mark of totalitarianism. Calling people "birthers" or "truthers" or "racists" or "homophobic", etc and other ad hominum attacks is a rhetorical logical fallacy designed to minimize the actual facts of the argument.
Bottom line in this topic thread is that author bios are always based on information provided BY THE AUTHOR (who completes a questionnaire), then written into a bio page by the marketing department, and then verified and APPROVED BY THE AUTHOR prior to going to print. Hence, Obama himself supplied the information regarding his place of birth and upbringing and approved it before it was printed and sent out. End of story.
So the real question is, was he lying then or is he lying now? Or both?
Some will say try to say it doesn't matter and point to "Well, George Washington wasn't born in America" and other distractions. But does it matter in terms of eligibility and credibility and character that information has been fabricated and that anyone who questions it is pathologized with ad hominum attacks?
"During times of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act." ~George Orwell
Quoted for truth. The problem I'm having here is the selective application of the truth. Why the focus on Obama's issues when bush 41 and 43 got away with crimes much worse..and Clinton..well look into the stories about mena. Or vince foster. Or 100 other things. I'm actually convinced now that Obama was not born here..but why this focus on him and not the others? Yes..I'm saying that his skin color is an underlying reason, even though what's being said on his birthplace is probably correct. I'm saying that there's a double standard at work. That doesn't excuse anything Obama did, but where was all this teeth gnashing when bush 43 cowboy'ed us to Iraq? Where was all this angst when bush 41 did almost the same thing? Do you all have any idea how many innocent people we killed just on those two actions alone? Once you add in the effect of sanctions and depleted uranium poisoning from our munitions? In the millions. But all I remember hearing from the right, anyway, was how anyone who didn't support that bull# was with the terrorists. Obama lies about his birthplace, and everyone wants to hang him. Bush x2 and Clinton kill millions and they get speaking engagements on the rubber chicken circuit, and a comfy life.

Absolutely! Obama has at least been mostly fenced in, and cannot make many substantial moves. Romney would have more or less a free hand, at least for a while. THAT is much more frightening!
