Was it a drone that almost caused mid-air over Denver?

Early this morning I read that a mid-air collision almost happened over Denver. The pilot of the private jet reported to NTSB that it looked like a remote controlled plane and that it barely missed them at 9,000 ft. If this is a drone then we should definitely be on watch.

good catch...I'm a pilot....we "see and be seen" is the rule out there "VFR" below FL18.....how can a drone see well enough I don't know



We do "s" turns....dip a wing...use "unicom" to announce our position when needed, etc.

stupid newcasters, ofcourse it was a drone, the pilot said large remote-controlled aircraft, and they still call it a mystery. its a bird, its a hobby airplane, its a ufo LOL

Does this mean that the operators are not watching a radar screen. Is this also a type of intimidation? What's next a mid-air with a commercial airliner. I think we are all in jeopardy now and they don't care.

So is this 3rd attempt at drone flying and it keeps failing or is the same story?

They should know by now that their drones were mistake, or the people flying them never played video games.

Isn't it regulation and law to notify your local airport that you are flying something that high? I know you have to do it with big model rockets, so is it any different for RC Planes? Also, something that is flying that high would have to be big enough to at least be a blip on the radar.

Who authorized the flying of armed drones over the US and isn't that illegal. Or are we under Martial Law and don't know it. What he H--- is going on. If it was a drone then we need to do something about it.

Don't the drones have anti radar systems that both hide and seek. Do they have a cloaking capability?

center radar won't pick up anything slower than 45 mph, or small targets like a drone with a high aspect say 18 foot wingspan

Now that they can control robots to feed and give drink by mind thoughts how long before the pilots of these crafts don't even have to use hand controls which you know the military is interested in?

Oh My God, If we have armed drones flying over us and Iran successfully hacked into and brought down one under control and our government possibly lead by a muslum, are we in danger of another controlled flight operated from someone in our country? Really someone tell me that is not possible.

One possible explination here would be.

But I guess it was at like 9,000 feet this almost happned so a model airplane would probably be out at that altitude.

This is really looking like a drone. Plus now I hear they found a downed solar balloon?

The Adams County Sheriff's Office says deputies found a 14-foot solar bag Tuesday around noon. It's basically a weather balloon that looks like a long, black pool noodle
