Great article that foreshadows whats to come if Obama wins.

The most significant accomplishment of Obama's first term is to make Congress irrelevant. Under the myopic and blindly loyal leadership of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, the Democrats have succeeded in creating an imperial and, in a second term, a potential dictatorial presidency.

Laws passed?

The birth of multi-thousand page laws was not an aberration. This tactic was adopted so the bureaucracy controlled by Obama appointees would have sole discretion in interpreting vaguely written laws and enforcing thousands of pages of regulations they and not Congress would subsequently write.

The clincher...........

For example, in the 2,700 pages of ObamaCare there are more than 2,500 references to the Secretary of Health and Human Services. There are more than 700 instances when he or she is instructed that they "shall" do something and more than 200 times when they "may" take at their sole discretion some form of regulatory action. On 139 occasions, the law mentions that the "Secretary determines." In essence one person, appointed by and reporting to the president, will be in charge of the health care of 310 million Americans once ObamaCare is fully operational in 2014.

The same is true in the 2,319 pages of the Dodd-Frank Financial Reform Act which confers nearly unlimited power on various agencies to control by fiat the nation's financial, banking and investment sectors. The bill also creates new agencies, such as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, not subject to any oversight by Congress. This overall process was repeated numerous times with other legislation all with the intent of granting unfettered power to the executive branch controlled Barack Obama and his radical associates.

No one can say,Obama doesn't have a plan,and isn't trying to implement it,with reelection.
Obama needs to be stopped.

I have a feeling that his re-election plans don't include the American people. Why else would he be pandering to the gay vote. Good way to lose IMO, but nonetheless Obama is going to take the vote for 2012 revolutionary style. Which would make him a dictator.

People will scoff and dismiss that article but the simple fact is with the Care Act and the Frank Dodd Act they can do anything they want and has zero congressional oversight.

That is a fact!

Those "agencies" are writing their own regulations something that congress was created to do there is no way in hell would the left have ever let Bush or the GOP get away with changing the greatest nation on this planet.

There is your fundamental transformation to pure totalitarianism.

I don't know "how" people can dismiss it ,myself.

Its clearly the way, anyone who wants to be dictator, takes control.

Clinton/Bush/Obama/Romney...I think it is more pertinent now than ever to remember that those who attack the rationale of the game, and not the players, are its most formidable adversaries.

Totalitarianism is coming,if Obama isn't stopped.

WHY do we need 20000 drones flying in American airspace?

Really, putting the pieces together, I see this becoming a reality.

Yeah I can there was a poster on here that had one of the greatest lines i have ever read on here and it made sense:

Don't let your political ideology get in the way of your common sense.

That is how it will get dismissed.

I remember seeing that. I was like, "They actually think he's going to pay their bills?"
Here is a link to a video that I think EVERYONE should see: Obama Deception

The movie explains the situation pretty much the way that it is.

He's right though, a vote for Romney is a vote for Obama.

From the article.....

The governmental structure of the United States was set up by the founders in the hope that over the years only those people of high moral character and integrity would assume the reins of power. However, knowing that was not always possible, they dispersed power over three distinct and independent branches as a check on each other.

What they could not imagine is the surrender and abdication of its constitutional duty by the preeminent governmental branch, the Congress, to a chief executive devoid of any character or integrity coupled with a judiciary essentially powerless to enforce the law when the chief executive ignores them

In a nutshell.

The coming election is more pathetic then the last. Remember McCain and how he voted for NDAA? Everything the Bush family touches turns to crap, so what if Romney has their endorsement. Don't blame me cause Im voting for Chuck Norris.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

When that fails as it inevitably will. I will vote with my Rifle.

I remember that video "ms Pretending-to-be-thinking Meat" and her sidekicks and singing troupe "The Useful Idiots." I am very worried about a second term with Obama, but I am even more worried that if Ron Paul doesn't get in, North America is screwed.

Cheers - Dave

All Aboard the Transformation Train

Dr. Archevil: Remember our agreement, Obamatron: the Earth is to be mine once you are through with it.

Obamatron: It will be. What's left of it!

The political quarterbacks don't pay attention to the minor annoyance of the crowd, they are focused on running the plays that come in from the coach's box. The man screaming at the TV is of no real consequence to them and has no bearing on plays they run.

At ATS we took Bush to task every day, for everything he did. I'm not against Obama being taken to task. I think it necessary. However, there is a pattern here that we ignore to our peril.

When ANY executive, past or present, exercises authority outside of Constitutional limits we can complain until we are blue in the face, but that doesn't change their minds, does it? Obviously expressing our disdain for past and present executives has gotten us nowhere.

The predictable banter that results every time the political pendulum swings is old, tired and most of all ineffective. This is not the best way to solve problems. It's one of the oldest con games in the world.

Time may be better spent dispelling our collective confusion by discussing what we as a nation actually want and how we might accomplish it without putting those decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong.

I agree. But is this a game of good cop bad cop? Both play for the same team. We nee to clean house. Thats why Im voting for Chuck Norris.

Seriously though, Mitt Romney is about the worst alternative we could possibly come up with.
