So another baseless claim, coming from someone who claims to be a part of a secret fight club. Kinda like when they were gonna shutdown facebook, then shut down the internet. People still take anything "anon" says seriously?edit on Mon, 14 May 2012 16:28:35 -0500 by TKDRL because: (no reason given)

The sad thing about this is that if Anon leaked direct, verifiable documents saying that we faked the moon landing and perpetrated 9/11 with big ol' official stamps in the corner, still people wouldn't believe. You know, I know, and TPTB know it...
Q. What's next for Anonymous?
A: Right now we have access to every classified database in the U.S. government. It's a matter of when we leak the contents of those databases, not if. You know how we got access? We didn't hack them. The access was given to us by the people who run the systems.

As much as I would like to believe in Anon, I also have trouble with the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus and of course Cupid. From what have researched Anon is very possibly a CIA front org much like Al'CIA'da. If they want to prove themselves, they need to sh*t or get off the pot. Lots of talk and no action leads to very little credibility.
Cheers - Dave
Keep thinking the Easter Bunny isn't real....That's what THEY want you to think!

You guys are so funny. TRUE high secure FedGov machines don't have LAN, USB ports, e-SATA ports, or wifi adapters. All the bait machines have just enough security to provide confidence to the hacker that they really, really broke in to something important. You can't even wear a watch or rings when entering the space where the REAL high security machines are. Hollywood makes real security so easy. Read "The Art of War".

Well you are only partially right. The government does have their own set of IP numbers known as the Class A range. Anyone can access them with an internet connection though. Any IP address falling within the range of 1.0.0.1 to 126.255.255.254 is a government protocol. Most of what you access on the internet is a Class C protocol. The machines that valuable data is stored on most likely do not have anything recognizable as an internet protocol because they are completely disconnected from the internet.
Anonymous could have classified data and their are many ways outside of hacking a network to obtain data. It's taught in intro level network security classes that administrators should be aware of Social Engineering attacks, employees compromising information, and even physical unauthorized access via employee credentials like ID cards or key codes. If wikileaks could obtain what they did, rest assured there are still plenty of people out there that can.

when i first heard about the group anonymous i was happy that all the behind the scenes bullsh*t that goes on would be brought out into the open..but like other membera have said in this thread, they fail to deliver. "actions speak louder than words" is what my parents always told me. talking is one thing anonymous, doing is another. just saying.
