Edit- I hate the American Government and it does seem to be a crime as far as many American ATS members are concerned. And not just them. I have been attacked by fellow Australians for voicing my hate for the American Government. But its mostly defensive Americans that refuse to see their Government for what it is. Im not sure if its egocentricity or brainwashing. But I think many of you will defend your evil Government until the bitter end.

The American Government is evil. The American Government does not care about its people. The American Government only cares for the Imperial Corporatist. The corporatist has no sovereignty. As a result the parasitic corporatist has sucked its host dry. They all come from Delaware. American people must come together to fight the corporatists and save their country. America is a mess.

When China was making fun of America after America had its Credit Downgrade I saw that as a turning point. Nobody is scared of America now. And there is no way in hell anyone with any sense would envy American citizens. I pity them. many of them wear the Emperors New Coat.



Many Americans can see that they are naked though. Tea Party,OWS,Paul Supporters......


Edit- I fear that political dissidents like me will have to worry about being arrested or killed by drone strikes before too long. America will see people like me as an Enemy of the State. They probably already do. Which is crazy since I want to take down the duopoly non-violently. Isnt that what democracy is? I know America isnt a democracy but they claim to have democracy. They do not.

While there isn't A Law, there is a convoluted series of laws that has redefined the authority of the President, Congress, and the Judiciary to be able to apprehend, and hold indefinitely those that it considers to be "Terrorists" or even just possibly affiliated with terrorists. The definition of such is becoming more and more to become defined as someone who manifests animosity toward the U.S. Government. Certainly, the risk is greater while you are standing on U.S. soil. We scrabbling down a slippery slope toward what you describe.

Less, as far as the Government is concerned, but more in regards to what the American population would tolerate. The Government is more likely to see you as a threat these days if you publicly spout off against it if you are a citizen. However, the other citizenry would tolerate you better.

I live in the US and I hate its government, its crooked police(but not the good police that actually have a just and pure heart, and purpose) I hate its greed, I hate the overwhelming ignorance all around me. But I love this land, these people and the way things once were and will be again. So no its not wrong to hate the US but you should probably be more specific in your hatred rather than throw out a blanket statement involving people who are nothing like our evil overlords

You should be proud of your country it's the government and leeches that screw it up for everyone

Some aspects of the US are to be opposed, obviously the foreign policy and imperalist warmongering by Barrack Hussein Obama

However, it strikes me as a truly amazing country, in terms of landscapes, music, culture etc- I'd love to see a fair whack of the country before I die.

Personally, I don't have a flying rat's ass to give to whether anyone love, likes, dislikes or hates my country. It matters not a bit because I don't live, eat, breath or sleep for the feelings of anyone except those I call family and friends.

Does that matter? Does it matter that I DON'T care that you hate me or my country?

I can't argue with that. I was literally heart-sick and mind-blown when the voters put Bush Junior in the White house for another four years. He should've been utterly humiliated in that second election. So, I honestly don't know what to say.

Hating America is about as sensical as hating an entire race of people.

In other words, it's not.

The endlessly greedy/corrupted/self-serving/Earth-raping/wealth-gap-enabling/liberty-revoking are all around the world. Much more sensical to hate the type than to hate a place where some of them live.

I am not even sure it's appropriate to hate these people. They are the big dumb kid who bullies on the playground, the kid who's got a crappy home life/lots of problems that warrant pity.

Regardless of how these people come to be, they must be stopped/stripped of power and influence, or we'll all continue to pay more and more for their behavior until the end.

Yes if you’re the big guy you are always considered the bully. You don’t get to be the bully by setting on your can. It is hard work, not the puny hours of workweeks like all the big government and big entitlement countries. Americans are still the most productive society in the world. Our workers put out more product per person than any other country in the world. We work our a$$ off. Militarily we are the bully it’s a good thing we are or the rest of the world would be bowing down to some tin horn megalomaniac like Hitler again. Don’t worry about thanking us for all the tech we developed that you use in your everyday life, or all the money we spend on research to combat diseases, or all money we send to all your countries to keep afloat in foreign aid, that is money we borrowed from the Chinese and now our grandchildren will be paying off the debt, never mind.

Since all your looking for is a genuine answer (which I don't believe you are) the answer is no it is not a crime but yes someone will probably kick your butt. As an American I think my government is just as corrupt as the REST. As in ALL governments. Ours is just a bit more effective at it because, right now, we have the cash.
