one of my friends turned mason... but I have to know, is it true that you do the whole sex with a fake sheep thing? No really... that's what I was told except he didn't know it was fake when he decided he'd go ahead and do it. (we're not friends anymore but not because he's a mason - just thought I'd make that clear).

For anyone who either has no opinion, or hates us, I hope there would be one truth that is self-evident just by the behavior of masons here on ATS.

I have never met any of the other masons on ATS as far as I know.

They are from different places around the world. Some are Jew, some are Christian, Muslim, Hindu, etc.

But can you see how peaceably we treat each other?

Can you see our lightheartedness and fellowship?

Is it apparent how excited we are to invite our brother into our house despite having never met him?

I think it's this kind of behavior that speaks more to the character of Freemasonry than anything we can say about it.

On a more serious note... If you ask would I be willing to lay down my life for one of these other Masons, despite never meeting him, if it was likely he would die if I didn't intervene? YES!

If you feel that you must judge us, don't do it on what we say, judge us by our actions and the actions of our fraternity as a whole.

I wanted to bump this, Brother. Awesome post.

No that's not true. Some one was pulling your leg.

Wow. Okay thanks for clarifying that!
Really. I know it was an odd question.

Yes all lodge open houses encourage you to bring your lady.

At least in California, that's how we do it. Im almost certain that's how it is elsewhere too.

In all fairness, I thought I was going to have to ride the Goat and I still petitioned. I have no problem with farm animals, except the Emu, they're mean creatures.

Quite a few people on ATS are hostile towards Masons. Consider the fact that you have just made this information available to the whole ATS community.

I have a feeling that some people will be trolling this open house event lol.

Masons have never been afraid of hostility.

I think it would be worse to try and hide it from ATS than make it known.

Also, just to clarify my statement: I wasn't saying that I have anything against Masons.
