Kabul - An Afghan woman cut off her father-in-law's penis with a knife after he tried to have sex with her, a doctor in eastern Afghanistan's Ghazni province said Saturday.

"One day when the husband was away from home he attempted to have sex with his daughter-in-law and she cut off his penis with a knife," the doctor from a private hospital in Ghazni said on condition of anonymity.

The man went for treatment at the private hospital but was sent on to the capital Kabul for specialist treatment, he added. The incident took place two weeks ago but has only just come to light.

According to figures in an Oxfam report in October, 87% of Afghan women report having experienced physical, sexual or psychological violence or forced marriage

A 29-year-old Vietnamese woman, only identified by her surname, Pan, was sick and tired of her husband's philandering ways and his physical abuse. So she did what any scorned, crazed woman would do, ehem: She waited until he was passed out from drugs and sleeping pills and cut off his penis -- with a pair of scissors. Then she threw the severed member in a Taiwanese river like it ain't no thang.

Afterward, she turned herself into police and allegedly told them that she felt no regret for what she did to her unemployed, drugged-out dirtbag of a husband.

I've always considered myself to be somewhat of a pacifist. You seriously have to wonder about woman who has the cojones to cut off a man's weenus. Lord knows I wouldn't be able to go through with something like this, no matter how much the woman-beating, philandering bastard deserved it. Cutting off a dude's private parts -- with scissors (scissors!) no less -- would probably be more punishment for me than the man itself. Shudder! Blech! Ick!

Then again, I've never been pushed to such a point of desperation in my life. I imagine women who are actually ready to go through with ... the deed have reached a place where they literally have nowhere else to go. They've been abused -- physically, sexually, and emotionally -- for far too long. I can only imagine that cutting off the thing that essentially gives men their power must seem like the only possible option to them.

Pan, who worked at a local karaoke shop to support her family, has been taken into custody on charges of assault. And you know what? I bet she couldn't care less. She probably feels pretty damn good right now.

A Kenyan divorcee is trying to cope with life without his manhood after it was cut-off by an angry lover. Ronald ole Kitare, 27 told newsmen that he never imagined the woman he loved and planned to marry could amputate his manhood. Kitare swore never to trust any woman again.

Kitare, a security guard in Diani, a suburb of Mombasa, was separated from his wife early this year on grounds of infidelity. He fell in love with Faith Kamulu, 20, the woman who eventually cut-off his penis last week. According to Kitare, Kamulu came back home drunk, a state he had never seen her before and quarrel broke out between them. “My fiancée, who I had planned to marry in the next few months, arrived home at about 8.00 pm and we differed for a few minutes. I tried to inquire why she was drunk, but instead of answering me, she confronted me,” Kitare told reporters from his hospital bed.

In another statement from his bed, Kitare said Kamulu claimed his ex-wife insulted her over the phone calling her “husband snatcher”, an issue she took seriously. According to Kitare, “due to that, she threatened to do something to ensure I will not have any other woman in my life. But after some discussion, we resolved our differences and came to terms.I thought all was well since we even made love that night, but because it was a hot night, I decided to sleep on a mat while my fiancée spent the night in the bed. I never thought she still had grudge against me, but at about 12.00 am, she sneaked and chopped off my penis using a kitchen knife; she threw the organ away.”

Kitare said he bled profusely after the cut and cried out for help as he was losing consciousness. In his word: “I was bleeding profusely and I was rescued by my neighbours who heard me yelling for help.” Neighbours came to his rescue, seizing Kamulu and handing her over to the police upon their arrival at the scene. Kitare was rushed to Msambweni Hospital emergency room and later transferred to Coast General Hospital. Ms Evah Hussein, a hospital official ruled out the possibility of reattachment of the severed penis. She said cosmetic surgery to restore Kitare's manhood to enable him urinate and in reproduction was possible. “The surgery to re-attach the organ was not done in time and cosmetic surgery can be done at Kenyatta National Hospital in Nairobi to help the patient in urinating and even regain his sexual function if well conjoined with the urethra,” Ms Hussein explained.

Kitare in a statement said he does not plan to have more children. His organ is being preserved at Coast General Hospital awaiting his consent for its disposal.

On Monday in a Kwale court, Kamulu denied the charges of aggravated assault and maiming of Kitare.

I FULLY agree with this. A million thumbs up for that woman.

Every day I am witness to how out of touch these less-than-intelligent-indoctrinated-religio-freaks are. In actual terms of science, if you believe those writings, mirror neurons in the brain reflect the writers emotions. In the case of a guy going on a murderous rampage...I don't think it's very wise to even put the slightest bit of faith in those writings, because those emotions will be triggered in the readers mind.

But a figure like Jesus, who teaches love and forgiveness, is one you can look up to and actually HELP your sanity - scientifically speaking even, and help your understanding of others, forgiveness and love...exactly the opposite of what reading about Mohammed would do for you. One will free your mind, the other will close it. One takes fear and hatred out of your heart, the other pours fear and hatred into it.

This thread is about solving a murder mystery not about a religion. To try to solve a crime it is necessary to build psychological profiles in order to understand the reasoning of and the nature of the crime. This thread is not about your religious beliefs. Period.

Its "accurate" only in your perspective... because you cant think beyond the "christianity good/ Islam bad" mentality. You consciously choose to ignore the misogyny, scientific/historical errors in the book that you try and defend.

I could start a new thread about the misogyny, scientific/historical errors in the bible... and you will be there defending the bible, because YOU believe certain things about the bible.

Sorry we do not quote from YOUR religious text; rather translations from your religious text that you claim are inaccurate to begin with. Apparently, they are not accurate because the text that infidels are not supposed to read are full of brutality and murder not as you would have us believe that Islam is peace and love.
I hope that we are done derailing the thread here and as far as the forensic evidence goes, to prove my theory wrong we need to examine the carcass however, the leaders of Islam would not stand for it and there is good reason. The reason being is after years of molestation the child bride Aisha took a knife and cut off the penis of Mohammed making sure he would no longer molest children. Islamic leaders would be so embarrassed to let the world know that Mohammed died a unic there is no way dig up the carcass that would never be allowed. I will bet a dollar to a donut hole if you dig up the carcass you will indeed see that Mohammed died as a neutered unic, upon entering heaven he was unable to molest his seventy virgin children

I don't condone the murder of anyone. Simple killing, however, is not necessarily "murder" - it depends entirely on the circumstances surrounding the killing.

Well, i can totally understand women who have been repeatedly raped and beaten and treated worse than a dog to have the type of reaction where she decapitates her mentally, emotionally, physically and sexually abusive husband. That is 4 types of abuse going on, more often than not simultaneously.

I am surprised they don't bite the bullet and tell Muhammad and his moongod to piss-off and take the stoning they would recieve because being dead is better than receiving that kind of abuse all your life.

Before Umar went to Jerusalem, the Christians had been using the site of Sulayman temple grounds as a trash pit, out of their hatred of Jews.

Umar ordered the area cleared, and cleaned up out of respect for the Jews. The Rock had religious significance for the Jewish people, not the Muslims and was not built during the time of the early Muslims. It was not until later that was built.
