Being an American I must admit that:

First of all the vast majority of Americans are brainwashed twits that don't know let alone care about politics. Secondly, the vast majority of Americans only get their news and information from the mass media. Thirdly, If you have every brainwashed American telling you the same thing that first he can't win second that Romney is going to win and that his politics are crazy of course they aren't going to give the man a chance.

I honestly ask you... The real you not the brainwashed version of you to think about his politics. I am from the south and I will tell you if you were from the south you would believe in his foreign policy! I for one don't want no one in my house or on my land without my permission and I am pretty sure other countries and people feel the same way. Secondly, if you are from the south you believe in the almighty. Well fact check they believe in the almighty also, they might call him a different name but they do believe in the same god just different ways to get too him. Moreover, the vast majority of them are good people it's the crazies that supposedly want to attack us. Think of all the crazies we have at home and point fingers before you want to annihilate a people or a country because of a few people.

As for his fiscal policy you can't argue that the man knows his stuff he sits on the finance committee and is the only one looking out for your wallet.

You can't argue with a man that has kept his word and stood by his story for over 30 years. I ask you to sit there and review your life and say that you have been such a man (or lady if you are). I know I have not been such a man till recently and last recall this feeling of anything being possible and right since I was a kid and believed that the world was good.

I ask you and everyone else to please stop attacking and dashing hope of Ron Paul supporters just cause you are blinded and brainwashed by the mass media. You must admit that America needs to get fixed. Well George W. Bush was the president for a long time and he is similar if not on point with Romney's politics and the country is still on a bad downward spiral (George W. Bush couldn't fix this mess!). As for Obama he has only had 4 years but still his politics are destroying us further (instead of fixing the problems he keeps putting bandages and trying to spend our way out of this disaster). Unfortunately, you can attest that there is no way possible to spend your way out of debit if you don't have the income to pay for it. Well buddy we can't get out of debit cause we spend to much and don't have the income to pay for it.

If you believe we need protection and we need to prevent terrorist to get us, as per the Romney stance. Then you must realize that if this country goes broke and we can't pay our bills then we won't be able to afford our protection and they will have won on default or have a free pass to come here?

Moreover, so far only Ron Paul is willing to do what has to be done to get America back on track. That means facing the pied piper and handling up like a man.

I hope you don't see this as an Attack post just as an answer to the deluded minds of America.

Finally I am from Texas... Guess where my vote is going?

Do you really think the Republican Party will allow Paul to be their guy?

They want Romney.

An Independant run is the only realistic option.

You have my applause sir! Well said and thought out. Dr. Paul will be our next president and everybody here knows it! Only the shills continue to bash him but they have to earn their pay. Keep the faith and continue to believe in mankind, as I believe the human condition is curable!

TPTB runs the political gong show. Your vote is useless and they give you the illusion of voting to make you believe you have a say so in the process. You don't. I think Paul would be the best option, but knowing how things work, ain't gonna happen. It is known to the ones in power who is going to occupy the presidency years in advance. This can be rectified, but protesting, calling and writing to politicians, and voting, is not going to cut it.

I understand that and my reply is this plain and simple. First of all the only parties any media pay attention to and most brainwashed Americans even have a remote idea about are either the Republican or Democratic party. Secondly, since he is running as a Republican even if they are trying to black him out of the news it still causes controversy which makes people ask who is this Ron Paul and why the hell haven't I heard about him. I mean lets get serious how many of Americans would have ever known who Ralph Nader was if he didn't make a blip and supposedly destroy the race for Al Gore? The news didn't care... They wouldn't if Ron Paul ran independent as well. Moreover, this is helping the cause more than this is hurting the cause. Why does Dennis Kucinish keep running as a Democrat? He will never win their nomination and his ideas are just as independent (if not a little more controversial) as Ron Paul but he knows that it will help spread his ideas.

Now don't get me wrong their politics are different but the concept is sound.

That is a great answer.

What do you think of his chances as Independant if he fails to win the GOP? Which I suspect he will.

What do you think of americanselect for if the GOP bid fails?

LOL, I have been involved in politics for a very very longtime and can tell you that not only does your vote count but if enough people wake up and go to your side then you can change anything. Lets review... Iowa, Minnesota, Nevada, etc...

In my life I have seen political power in city, state, and national government change dramatically. Once we had slavery, then we had repression, now we have an African-American President. Each time change occurred the world was destroyed in a huge disaster. How you might ask well the hope and dreams of those in power during those times were crushed, demolished and destroyed. I have seen grown men cry because their agenda was not met, the problem is they suck it up and ring the bell and get in the ring for round 2. They don't stop pushing the agenda that is why they are in power and they control so much.

The wake up call to Americans is stop being lazy! They want you to be lazy, it's how they win! You have to keep pushing and fighting for your rights and your power it's the only way to win.

Why was segregation stopped? Because African-Americans stood up and fought and wouldn't stop fighting. Trust me TPTB didn't want that to happen. But it did because people wouldn't stop.

The same thing is happening with Ron Paul supporters they are on a mission and will not stop until they are killed or the country is corrected.

Dr. Paul is a Gynecologist...he is in no way qualified to hold the position of President. I don't give a crap how smart, knowledgeable, upstanding, etc. etc....

Maybe he can politic to be appointed Surgeon General or something. Doctors are not leaders of men or managers and a doctor being president is a mockery of the position.

The guy is way out of his league...and anyone that cannot see this is the deluded one.

Bashir Assad is an ophthalmologist...see how that's working out.

isn't it bad enough that Lawmakers are in the executive office as it is...doesn't anyone use things in the manner they were intended to be used?

The chances are that since he has now created all this controversy he might actually have a fighting chance as an Independent. It's strange but if you calculated the amount of Republicans that would vote for him and the amount of Democrats that would switch to vote for him and the regular Independents that normally vote he might be able to pull off an upset.

But I still believe his bid as a Republican was the smartest choice for him since it has allowed him to spread his message and rally the troops as one would say. But if he did go Independent then I would vote Independent.

i'm a fan of putting things were they belong and using things as they are intended to be used.

you envision a world of desolation and confusion: I came to this conclusion after observing your avatar.

from how i see it...Romney is the only one of the three that should be applying for the job of President anyway.

the other two belong somewhere else. not doing what they are doing or hoping to do what they are doing.

Just imagine if you possibly can...Ron Paul as Potus, sitting in a room with the Joint Chiefs and Heads of the Intelligence community and he says something which they consider...the dumbest thing they've ever heard a grown man say (which is a certainty given what he's been talking about) with regards to the security of 320 million Americans.

Ron Paul as President would definitely be followed up by a Coup and Overthrow of this Government....no doubt about it.

anyone that thinks otherwise is quite obviously and enemy of this country and everyone that lives in it.

This is too funny... Do you realize that the first president of the United States was a farmer? The writer of the Declaration of Independence was a lawyer, Regan was an Actor, G. W. Bush was an idiot, Obama was a freshmen senator, and that our government is set up that way for a reason.

Moreover, don't you think this country needs a Doctor? Especially a doctor that has been in politics for over 30 years and knows more about politics that you can me combined.

What you and others fail to realize is we the people are not powerless! You are correct in believing that the voting process is a sham! What everyone needs to realize more than ever, is that we the people, vastly outnumber the 1% and DO, have the true power! What WE, set our collective mind to, shall be done!

While I respect your position, I stil stand by mine. Were you in federal politics? Because it's a whole other breed of cat as opposed to state and local. And I happen to personally know politicians in each of these arenas, so I'm pretty savvy when it comes to politico.

Farmer and Land Owner? Lawyers write a lot, Reagan was also Governor of California, Bush was Governor of Texas...

Politics is the most disgusting profession on the planet and Ron Paul makes it worse because everytime you see him you have to wonder where his hands have been.

Romney? LOL! How can you spend any time at all on this site and still buy into that?
(DENY IGNORANCE) A vote for either Romney or Obama is a vote for corruption.
And while I gotta wonder how someone can spend over 30 years in Washington and not be
covered in slime, Ron Paul seems by far the most honest candidate with a track record to
prove it.

ROFLMAO!!! Gee, which should I choose? Obama backed by Goldman Sachs?
Or Romney backed by Goldman Sachs?

P.S. Read my signature and take the red pill ....

I agree, we are not powerless. But that is speaking COLLECTIVELY. Everyone is against everyone...liberals v. conservative, that type of divisive bs. If people can't get past petty differences that divide us, nothing will change. TPTB know this, as they are the ones who created these divisions. It's how they conquer.
