If you like.
I would not personally support such a move, but then again, we are all different.

No

But I would support a series of strikes on America and Israel.

Yea! lets start WW 3! 'dripping with sarcasm' Do you realize what you are saying? How about we just step on Lucky the Leprachan and be done with it. If there were pre-emptive strikes on America, Everyone responsible would either be invaded or decimated by the most advanced neuclear wepons in the world.

In all farness, I can almost agree with your stance on Isreal. Almost.

This might surprise you (just a little) but we dont fear the USA over this way, we dont think youre the dogs b@lls and we dont even rate you as an Army. Okay fair enough you have a lot of big bombs and it might start WWIII, but, as the SAS would say over here, Who Cares Who Wins!

You dont rate one of the largest ground forces in the world as an army? We have more people in our military than Irland has people! Personally, I dont give a flying F if your scared of the US or not, it was that unintelligent remark you made that I was referring to. And further more, what kind of special operations does Irland have? I can here it now. " Commander shamrock will crush you with his lucky charms!!" Dont start comparing your military lite with our military might, you will lose every time.

Members of The Royal Irish Rangers/Regiment and Scottish regiments make up 60% of the Special Air Service (SAS) hand plucked from Irish, Scottish and English Regiments, these men are indeed the most feared fighting force in the world. I compare your forces to that of the Russian special forces (as many of my peers do) and we all know how good they are.

So tuck your head in, for if you did not have big bombs, you would indeed already be dead.

NO.

It's an exercise in futility. All you're doing is delaying the inevitable, and creating more enemies in the process.

Personally, if the entire region was armed with nukes, you'd have either of the two scenarios...

1. Since all have nukes, the warfare stops, much in the same was as the Cold War. A new Cold War starts, in the ME.

2. They all destroy each other.

Either way, it's really a win-win...

The only downside is scenario 3.

3. This enables terrorist groups to have nukes.

As long as it is made abundantly clear that any nuke tracked to a nation, used by terrorists, will result in that nation's obliteration (they can't retailliate without ICBMs), then all should be well.

To be perfectly frank, I've had it with them all fighting over scraps of dirt and hiding behind religious ideology, and it's infringement on my rights, freedoms, and safety. It's like two children fighting over the same toy for thousands of years. It's pathetic. At this point, they could wipe each other off the face of the earth for all I care about it...

Ive got some news for you Lucky. I spent 4 years in the NAVY, and had the privilage to go to A school at Treasure Island. My rate was DC. Treasure Island is home to two major trainig centers. The firefighters, and the SEALs. I have a good Idea of the training these guys go through. I would put 1 Navy seal agianst 3 of your SAS anyday. So not only do we have the big bombs, but we have the bad a55 manpower to back it up. If your country has the money, you can afford this military luxury. Mine has the money, and the military to protect it. Bombs, soldiers and all.

The SBS (Special Boat Service) Hand plucked from the Royal Marine Commandos, have trained your Navy seals in the past, so like I said, tuck your head in.

Sickboy,
Actually, if you search for the information, youll find that when the boat boys trained WITH our SEALs, your boat boys trianed us on saftey, and we trained the boat boys in water combat scenarios.

Look I dont mean to be smart and make you look like a total loser sailor boy, but if you ever get the chance, go and ask a SEAL about the SBS and SAS.

American Mad Man, and all the other right wing americans, I would like to question you: why do you consider the rest of the world as inferior? Iran will never bomb you, be sure about that. Such arrogance is always paid at some point in time.

humanitarian policies?

thats a joke!!!

Israel is one of the only few countries that actually gives a damn about other people.
Israeli Humanitarian Aid

civilized?

r u serious?

compared to all other nations in the Mid-East, Israel is the only democracy and has their own stock market. Economy of Israel

not only that, Tel Aviv is considered as one of the top 10 high-tech centers in the world.
Israel's Economic Growth

Israel even has their own satellites... Israeli Satellites

now lets look at their military...

the IDF(Israeli Defense Force) is one of the best in the world because of:

1-Training. In most fields the IDF trains it's men to the highest standarts in the world.

2-Hardware and Tech. The IDF uses the best hardware available to US clients, and upgrades it with Israeli made upgrades. It also produces some of its own hardware based on the experience gained in modern conflicts.

3-Structure. The IDF is structured to use as much of its personal in frontline positions. It is also structured to quickly transfer the fighting onto enemy territory. This is done by use of massive armoured and mechanised forces supported by what is one of the best air forces in the world. Also the Israeli reserves are probably some of the best trained, most experienced troops you can find, and can be fully mobilised in 2-3 days.

the IAF:

1- is the most technologically advanced air force in the world, behind the USA.

2- currently has the most advanced jet fighters, F-15Es and F-16Is.

3- Israeli pilots are trained to the highest standards in the world.

4- as shown in previous wars, the IAF is VERY effective!!!(especially in '67 and '73)

I, 100%, SUPPORT a pre-emptive strike on Iranian nuclear facilities. Iran threatens to retaliate?
their military cant match-up to Israel's. their only option is the Shihab-3. the problem with Iran using them is that Israel will have no problem arming their Jericho 2 missiles with nukes and launching hundreds of them at Iran, which will completely vaporize the entire country...

Are you for or against pre-emptive strikes on nuclear facilities in Iran?

I am against strikes occurign now. I think that more diplomacy is warranted at the moment. Ultimately, Iran needs to respond to the threat of terrible economic sanctions. If the -still- won't allow iaea inspectors in and cooperate with the IAEA, then they obviously have soemthing to hide. I think that there is enough time to do this. However, I do not think that there are 'decades' to work with here, like in iraq. If sanctions pass and are enacted, and they still won't comply, then I see no reason to wait any longer.

I also think that any strike on any Iranian facilities will lead to a wide war. If WWIV hasn't started yet, then that will be the starting point. It'll be like the assasination of the Archduke in serbia. There had been operations in the balkans before and conflict between nationalists in europe before that, but that set the whole war to war. I think that striking iran will, at the very least, result in warfare throughout the middle east, parts of africa, and the caucus region.
I'm FOR Isreali pre-emptive strikes. Not american strikes, but isreali strikes.
I am completely against Israel striking iranian nuclear plants. If its in the interests of the US, the US should attack, not Israel. If its in the interests of Israel, the Israel should attack. I am pretty sure that in order to do so they would have to fly over Iraq. Iraqi airspace is under the control of the Iraqi Interim Authority. They will not give permission, and the US should defend the sovereignty of Iraqi Airspace and the Authority of the interim council. IOW, if foreign fighterjets appear in iraqi skys, they should be shot down.

Lets say its, for whatever the reason, not in US interests to attack iran, but israel wants to. They should not be allowed. THere is already enough of a perception of either the US secretly controlling israel or vice versa. This sort of action will certainly not help it, and US troopers should not be dying in a war that Israel started, or even dying to defend an agressor country, which is what israel would be if it struck first.

I disagree. Iran with nukes will create stability in the middle east IMO
