I have been searching everywhere and found some useful information regarding the two but would like you guys to explain in more detail, i understand that some people believe the illuminati still exist today but in an evil for and other believed they only lasted a short 10 years. Also freemasonry is believed to have direct ties to the illuminati but how? Thanks in advance to any responses

The Illuminati had a system of 9 degrees, with its 4th, 5th, and 6th degrees being the first three degrees of Masonry. The Illuminati had no actual Masonic authority to legitimately confer Masonic degrees upon anybody, so they were considered what is called a "clandestine rite", and their order was not recognized by legitimate Freemasons.

They were recognized only by their own members, and weren't very influential. The actual organization did not stand the test of time, and ceased to exist less than a decade after it was founded. Here I speak of the actual, historical Illuminati of Bavaria, not the one which continues to live in the imaginations of the conspiracy theorists.

Until (as cayce called them) the sons of belial come forth with a new manifesto and name for themselves, or (the synagogue of satan as in the Bible) discontinue the use of illuminati symbolism and references (countless examples, the recent madonna half time show is a good example) no one is going to use any OTHER name.

They could call themselves the Fairy Tale Tooth Fairy Club for all I care but the fact remains that their aim is to ever tighten control over the minds of men and women and to loose the spirit of the beast upon the world.

But what you are describing has NOTHING to do with the ideals of the Bavarian Illuminati. They existed to enlighten and encourage free thought, not control thought or control anything. I try to stay out of the Illuminati discussions these days because the conspiracy side just doesn't take the time to understand the real original group, if they did, they would not slander the name of that group. As I have said here many times, if the members of ATS actually studied what Weishaupt was doing, and the group was around today, they would want to be a part of it. The Puppet masters of today's times surely do exist, but they have ZERO to do with the original Illuminati. (IMHO)

The theory of the Illuminati is a propaganda tool used by Russian, Rumanian and Italian fascists, Nazis,socialists, stalinists and communists to vilify Bankers/Jews/TheRich. The theory is perpetrated by mentally ill hate-mongers and embraced by the naive.

Freemasons are a boring and anachronistic old mens club that teach moral virtues and who have no real power and hardly any connections to the world elite.

The Bavarian Illuminati were a group in the 17th Century that recruited some of their men from masonic lodges and copied some masonic ritual and philosophy. They were outlawed by the Bavarian Government of the time and broke up. The reason they were outlawed is because they plotted a conspiracy to overthrow the Government.

In current day society there are a number of secret societies, clubs, organizations and cults, most of which have very little actual power. Those who have some power have not once been mentioned on sites like this. Instead people waste their precious time with smokescreen "information" that is more of an entertainment device than an actual path to truth.

The current balance of power with China, U.S. Arabs, Persians, Europeans locked in fierce competition with each other makes it almost impossible to have a collective entity such as "The Illuminati" to "control everything". Believing so is a lazy attempt to simplify how the world works in a childish manner.

The deeper psychological roots of this type of thinking lie in break of trust during childhood and the subsequent development of the "mean world syndrome" espoused by the "conspiracy theorist".

I wish I could disagree, but it's mostly the truth.

I think the purpose that Freemasonry was originally founded to support is still valid. There is light and truth, but only if it can be found in the tiny space between the stretches of business meetings, dinners, charity, etc.

In addition it would be unthinkable in today's lodge to foment revolution (but I think if I were to ask my brothers outside the lodge they would agree the status quo should be dismantled). Political and religious (theology) discussions are banned, which certainly contributes to harmonious fellowship, but also permanently precludes any Freemason organization toward dumping tea in the harbor, or overthrowing tyranny.

before you give any weight to any info on the illuminati, look for footnotes or references to the ORIGINAL SOURCE MATERIAL
