Cats dont do tricks because its beneath them

They also dont chase cars or bark at lawnmowers or a million other dumb things dogs do.

You can also leave a cat for two weeks and it will feed itself.

Dogs are just dirty inbred morons at the end of the day.

Edit- I used to own a Staffie that I got for my ex-girlfriends son. He wasnt the best dog owner so the dog became mine. I loved it. I like dogs sort of but they really are dirty. And cats are smarter.

Nothing hypocritical at all. While I disagree with people eating dogs, what right to I have to tell people to stop doing it? While the religious police in Iran hate dogs, what right do they have seizing them?

People have a right to do anything and everything until it starts to infringe on another person's rights.

I have a right to play music very loud. My neighbours have a right to peacefully enjoy their apartment without listening to my music.

Are religious police infringing on people's rights by seizing dogs? Clearly they are.

Are people infringing on someone else's rights by eating a cow, horse or dog they own? I would say no.

I still don't like the thought of people eating dogs. I don't however feel I have the right to stop what other people do unless their rights starts to infringe on other peoples' rights.

So sadly, my love for dogs does not supercede my belief in liberty.

I'm open to being persuaded however.

I believe in personal liberty which is only constrained by other peoples' rights and the prevention of cruelty.

Now if you were to give me a convincing case that the way people kill dogs to eat is cruel, as this post Here does then I agree that such killing should be banned as I did Here

I suppose I have just never caught the bug that I have a right to ban things even though I disagree with them. If you can convince me that eating dogs, cats, horses, cows, pigs and sheep is cruel, then you will have convinced me that such practises should be banned.

Cats seem more inclined to kill for the fun of it, I guess more for sport and always something smaller or weaker. dogs are more protective of family members. I dont own either but just have a personal preference for dogs and those who sais they were dirty, dogs are no dirtier than humans and i would go so far as to say in a natural state cleaner. Dog saliva has healing properties as well. A human bite is more of a problem from infections than a dog bite.

I could care less if someone wanted to own a cat, just the stalking and killing leaves me cold to them. Not to mention their hair and dander gets into my throat especially when i am sleeping and yes i have stepped in cold cat # left on a floor.

Dogs seem to offer much better companionship to the lonely or infirmed. Either way I feel they can do as they please as far as banning what they want to. Some apartments dont allow pets either and i would ban pit bulls.

Dogs helped humans evolve, you should learn to appreciate them. Dogs allowed us to settle down and create civilizations. They are also quite intelligent.





Not to mention, dogs help a LOT of people in this day and age. For you to call them unworthy is actually an insult to the people that need them.

I disagree with dogs being dirty. cats are way messier. This just shows the stupidity of iran these days, culture or not. other than in some religious text tell me where it says dogs are too dirty to have around but rats, pidgeons, people...noooooooooooo...they're not too dirty.

Seriously makes me even more skeptical that iran can continue to progress into the modern era. they want to build nuclear devices but are too hung up on such ancient ignorant stuff as dogs are evil and dirty.

I hope whoever goes to war with iran first dump thousands of attack trained pitbulls and rotweilers into their cities.
We could call the iran war "The Dog War" instead of a ticker tape parade for the troops they can have one for the pooches when they return home. The parade king could be some mastiff in doggie BDU's and the drool dripping torn off foot of achmed adinejad dangling from his mouth. And the crowd erupts into applause as the hero pooches parade down the street.

Why should we be worried about what they do in Iran? let them live how they want to. Stop playing world police.

Accrording to Islamic doctrine, dogs are unclean, hence Islamic leaders take a very dim view of Muslims owing dogs.

The Judeo/Christian faiths don't look at dogs any better. They are pretty much the sign of fall and misery, death and suffering.

It's all a matter of culture. Jews and Islamics don't touch pork but in the US, McDonald's makes pigs of the better part of Christianity, lol...

Really, i thought a cat like a dog, not having an opposible thumb would have had trouble with the tin opener.

Also, when was the last time you saw a cat in a declared emergency zone looking for survivors, or, searching out contraband or weapons at an airport.
The only thing cats search out are those people who are dumb enough to want one as a pet, as for being clean, how about the parasite they pass through bodies into humans that causes schitzophrenia.
Cats, fluffy, not very bright, useless indulgence of an indulgent society, that causes untold misery for birds and small aminals/mammals, humanities prediliction for stupidity costs the environment in many ways.

I have spoken to a muslim cleric when i lived in leicester about dogs, it depends on where you come from as to wether or not dogs are seen as harram, Iraqis like dogs, they keep them as pets, the only reason the cleric could think of was back around the time of mohammad, one of his consorts was buried and a pack of dogs dug them up and ate the remains, since then they have been regarded as harram as people were offended by it, it was just a dog being a dog though.

If someone came trying to take my dogs... I would bite them.

Can you imagine the insanity of "arresting" a dog?, reminds me of the trials they had in mediaeval times of animals they thought were witches, or the trial and execution of a monkey because they thought it was a spy.
