Well actually the title isn't correct. Having 4 birthdays is not the same as being 4 years old.

Well I have to agree with you on this. The title should say "Ron Paul Dated A Sixteen Year Old Girl Who Had Four Birthdays In High School".

It doesn't directly affect me, I have other things to worry about like the rest of the world.

If you are worried about the rest of the world then you damn well better be worried about American politics...

I don't think you'll find many non-Americans that DO care.

Right here buddy...
edit on 11-5-2012 by ChaoticOrder because: (no reason given)

I said many. It only really impacts the rest of the world in extreme circumstances, like I said.

In the three countries I have lived in, it's exactly the same as what I have stated.

Which was my original and only intentional point. It was taken elsewhere by OP.

There are "many". And you truly underestimate the impact that the U.S. has on other countries. All their illegitimate wars, occupation of other countries, and trying to police the world. They even have multiple U.S. bases here in Australia. You have clearly overlooked all these things. They have a HUGE impact on many countries around the world. Countries which you most likely have never had the pleasure of visiting.

As I said, extreme circumstances such as war.

I don't need to, I have a good grasp on the English language.

Put it this way, if I didn't have media updates on American politics, I wouldn't know the difference between this president and the last. It has no impact on my life (excluding extreme circumstances like war), so I don't care. I don't think you'll find many non-Americans that DO care.

I am Australian. I have cared about American politics since I was a Family Ties fan as a kid. Even as a kid a was aware that if a Republican was elected, the chances of war were much greater. Now it doesnt even matter. Democrats are as bad, maybe worse.

And the GFC affected us. It still is even though we got through it better than most. You think the Big Banks dont affect us? You think multi-national corporations out of delaware dont affect you?

You think Marines in NT dont make us a target of China?

You think America putting a drone base off our coast doesnt affect us?

Seriously?

And you dont care about victims of Imperial policy in other nations?

Are you for real?

Thats why I like Ron Paul. He will curb Imperialism. You should pay attention.

Edit-I could go on and on for days about how America directly affects you.

"extreme circumstances" are everyday common occurrences for some countries.

You are back. Yay!

I dont care if you dont care about yourself.

Maybe you should try to grow some empathy though. Maybe you should care about a Hatian rice farmer that cannot sell his rice for a fair price due to American Imperialism. Maybe you should care about the millions of people that die through collateral murder. All the orphans. All the people that have been displaced.

It honestly sickens me that you have such a lack of empathy.

Edit- But who cares about some guy from Haiti hey? Who cares about some dead innocent Iraqi's? As long as you are of the false belief that American Imperialism doesnt affect you then its all good hey?

Back but not reading more than a couple of lines due to boredom of the subject. If you really think a change of presidency will affect wars much at all, well then you're going to be very disappointed.

Really? And its clearly about more than war. I wish you would google Imperialism.

But back to your next wrong claim. Have you heard about Ron Pauls foreign policy? At all? Isolalionist ring a bell? Have you read about what Paul thinks of the foreign aid scam? Have you read about what Paul thinks of the IMF mafia? Im guessing not hey?

Edit- you remind me of a tee.

You must have missed the couple of lines thing. If you think a change of presidency will change anything much at all that goes on in other countries, you will be disappointed.

Do you think I would be here for any other reason than to troll you? What else would come from this? You won't increase my level of caring, because no matter what happens, not much will change.

Well since I am a propagandist my hope is that you being a tee for me and giving me the chance to show how wrong you are and how lacking in empathy you are, someone in America may read this and decide Ron Paul is the best available choice to curb American Imperialism and they will vote Ron Paul.

I am not an Imperial citizen and cant vote in Imperial elections but if I convince two Americans to vote Ron Paul then thats even better than having a vote isnt it?

And I know you are a lost cause. You dont have to tell me. It is clear. Im not trying to convince you. Im using you as a tee.

I can see you don't deal with trolls well, bye!

I appreciate your help.

And no hard feelings hey. Im sure you have far more empathy than you claim.

Hope I see you round. And I dont call people trolls. It annoys me when people do that. Anyone with an unpopular opinion around here gets called a troll at some stage. I have never seen anyone call themselves a troll though.

Have a good one hey

funny thread name. whenever you think actually see some negative things about Ron Paul, you come over a harmless joke.

posted on May, 11 2012 @ 11:55 AM

It was an attempt at humor, using the very same joke Ron did years ago. But yet, it seems it was taken a little to seriously by some. Takes me back to the "Is there room for humor on ATS" thread. I believe there is, and obviously others got the joke too.
See, it's not just about Paul guys, but the current trend of the boards as a whole. Mitt was a bully. Barrack was a bully. I was a bully! All of these are threads now (I assume the last is in the same line of humor as this one.) Any serious topic has room to be taken in levy. To be parodied or outright mocked. That's not only human nature, but it shows that those threads have gained enough interest to be humorized.
For those that are taking this a lil' too serious, think of it like how Leno takes his spin on the news of the day in his opening monologue. If it wasn't important, he probably wouldn't bring it up (unless it writes a real good punchline, ofcourse), so in the OPs own way, he's actually giving those threads props, while also offering a smile.

Just my two cents.

Wow.

That just blew my mind

I guess I am giving them props in a way.

And yeah,I meant no harm. This thread is pro-Ron Paul and anti-low journalism/propaganda.

Thanks for your review
I liked reading that.
