Hi from down south UK

Now where do i start. I've been lurking here for about a year now, and i got to say i've enjoyed every visit
and i got to thinking it's about time i put in my two bobs worth, so here goes.
I CANNOT STAND THE WAY GOVERNMENTS TREAT US TAKING EVERY PENNY WE EARN AND USING IT TO LINE THERE OWN POCKETS
I CANNOT STAND THE WAY GOVERNMENTS LIE TO US ABOUT ALL THE STUFF THATS GOING ON IN THE WORLD
Now, i've never voted ( nor will i ) and i know some will say "if you don't vote, then you can't complain"
but i don't want and i didn't ask for a government that treats my country as a buisness then gets into dept with other country's and then expects ME to pay for it, now i didn't borrow the money nor did i see a single penny of it, so why should i have to lose out on services like, health and policing just because the government have got to cut back, to pay THIER depts.
Why do they lie to us, about (well just about everything) why wars are started, we know why, OIL, why don't they expand on other, alternative energy, like solar or wind or even zero point energy (if only) why don't they tell us what they are spraying in the skies, and if there is life outside our own planet why don't they tell us.
So many secrets so many lies.
We all know the answer it's MONEY and MONEY is CONTROL am i wrong !

Hey and welcome, kinda a newbee myself and from South East UK. I know and can relate to exactly what you are on about dude, your not alone. Have said all along though that us British unfortunately just lay back and take all this crap, whereas the French when they strike for something they bloody well do and get what they want well most of the time. We well when we want something yes we strike, but need to notify the relevant parties, give notice so it's not an illegal strike and what do we get in return Fxxx ALL. And what about the Arab spring they achieved what they wanted, not saying it's a whole lot better but the will of the people achieved their original goal.

Damn it makes me upset that all we do is talk and not act.

*** Please note that at times the ride gets overly-heated and "it's strongly suggested" to get off the ride to regroup one's thoughts before continuing. This will also help guarantee that the ride will move forward without getting derailed or explode into a fiery trashbin.

Hi there, Agree with your post in theory, however we are paying for mistakes made centuries ago, not for mistakes made yesterday.

E.g. in the UK providing excellent pensions of teachers etc.

completely unsustainable as the previous governments who introduced these clearly didnt anticipate the leaps forwards we have made health wise leading to longer life expectancy.

Unfortunatley with the world we live in, the longer we live, the poorer we become
