Not to be confrontational but Erad3 probably ate at McDonalds once in a while, maybe shopped at his local mall once in a while and probably bought groceries at his local market once in a while. Does that make them all suspicious and CIA operated?

Most of you agree that TPTB doesn't own or operate this site. Well let me ask you this, Have TPTB ever contact the owners of this site? I mean ya remember what happened to Megaupload. It was taken down due to the fact they were sharing movies,music, and etc. So if they're on the net taking down websites, wouldn't they have try to attack or taken down this site? If ya try to deny that TPTB have never tried to contact the owners, then what JohnnyAnonymous said in this thread was a lie. www.abovetopsecret.com... He said" Congratulations, you've joined the world's largest and civil alternative topics discussion community!" If this is the world's largest, wouldn't TPTB have notice it? And I'm not trying to attack JohnnyAnonymous or anything, I just want to use it as a point. Also a reminder ya remember the last time someone try to talk about Govt. Conspiracies and such. His site was taken down and he was imprison and I'm talking about Julian Assange.

P.S. Sorry if this was messy, I have lots on my mind but I'm not so good at writing them down.

You wanna try somehing fun: go to the hoax forum and look through the threads. I find some of the most interesting (and sometimes true) threads are there, like diamonds in the rough, buried for the real seekers.

Yes, they are on the net taking down websites. This is hardly news. However, ATS is not a file sharing website .. next?

The logic here is astonishing really. No connection whatsoever unless you have proof of that contact. Which I am almost positive you do not.

Noticing something and running/operating something are two totally different animals. I may notice a Bugatti Veyron on the road but taking ownership and driving it is another matter entirely. Want to take another stab at that?

Eee gads... well wikileaks was hardly shut down as I just visited the website to make sure it is still operational..and it is. You are however correct on one point of this reply... Assange is in a tad bit of hot water. With that said however, SkepticOverlord and the other 2 amigos are hardly Assange now are they? And the last time I checked ATS is not in the business of leaking supposed government documents to the general public. Just sayin'......

P.S. Sorry if this was messy, I have lots on my mind but I'm not so good at writing them down.

Not an arguement in the least. You presented what you hope would be evidence to back up Kang's theories and I am questioning them. Nothing even close to an arguement. The thing you have to understand about ATS is that we vet things very well. It's all part of the process.

Precisely my point. Neither you or I or any other member of the ATS community, for that matter, have an answer for this except for perhaps Simon, SO, Springer and other admins. So to even ask such a question falls into the realm of the ridiculous since it's not a question that any of us other than the owners/admins can answer and hardly aids in your support for Kang's theories.

Sure it would... but so would so many other things. Proof, my dear, is needed in order for me, and I dare say others, to take Kang's theories (and yours) with any amount of seriousness.

That is entirely up to your own comfort level.. not for us to say. However, if you wish to fork over some real proof that Kang is indeed telling us the truth (and you are too), then I suggest you do so or go and play in another thread because in all honesty while you may be a very nice person, as far as this topic goes your lack of proof is really tiresome and eluding to things like "I have proof but I can't tell you" is just pure silliness and in truth, discredits you.

I have seen plenty of things on this site that didnt need to be moded and where not in TOS violation that got the cut... That said i have only seen it in the political forums here.

I am not unsympathetic to the situation you currently find yourself in, I can see where you may have reservations about posting on here. However, while holding a certain amount of compassion for your ordeal, making the jump from being monitored on a personal level to the PTB having taken over possession of ATS is, for me, a bit too much. Your claim is not proof that TPTB own, operate or in any way shape or form have anything to do with ATS in general.

The topic of the thread is the accusation that the PTB are involved with the daily operation of this site. If you can provide proof of that, then we have a debate since I am solidly on the other side of this issue. If not, then we have you in a bad situation and still no proof of the original claim. I wish you the best.

I do not subscribe to any social media other than this site. Due to the nature of this website and the topics discussed I don't doubt TPTB pop in from time to time to get a good laugh at our expense.. infact I almost expect it. But on the other hand I do not hold myself in such high regard that I would be of much interest to TPTB that they would give one wit about what I have to say on here. Just my 2 cents, and again, I wish you well.

I am sad to report, have had several posts removed, and even one thread, for T&C violations, Or in the case of the thread, it was a repeat of one already recently posted. None of them were in the political forum. The Modding here is fair across the board in all forums. Even when it went against me. It was fair.

You mean how megaupload was facilitating (arguably) copyright infringement, which is a crime, and was gone after to remedy the fact that megaupload, much like other file locker sites, was PAYING people to upload and share pirated content and PAYING them for the downloads?

How, on this wonderful planet we call earth, can you relate that, to the CIA contacting ATS?

And lets all be clear for a second.... The T&C is pretty darn straight forward. Granted, all of us at one time or another have broken or bent part of it, sometimes without consequences, others with strict and swift reaction.

But there is only 1 topic that is outright banned from the site. We all know what it is, and the site owners have, time and time again, explained in no uncertain terms WHY that topic is not allowed. In fact, there is a thread discussion still somewhat active about that policy.

Other than that, the only thing you can't post here is known hoaxes, or material from known hoax sources.

ATS doesn't censor you unless you break the terms, it really is that simple, and they NEVER do it without giving you a u2u explaining what has happened. If your posts "disappear" and there is no mod action taken, it's probably merely a glitch or possibly they had to restore from a backup.

Which brings up this very important, and often overlooked(not for my lack of bringing it up constantly) aspect of the rules.

ATS does not require, or ask you, to pay to use this site. In fact, I don't even know if there is a donate button somewhere to tell you the truth, I never bothered to look.

A website, even a half assed small forum, costs money. hosting costs. Bandwidth costs. None of which is being passed onto you, the user. Instead, ATS opted for paid adspace, because of the volume of traffic generated, and from the quality of the site, and uptime, I'd say that was a good move.

As such, expenses must be managed as best as possible. It costs money to store data, and that's what all of this is, including this post, data, on a harddrive, probably a nice rack of scsi drives raided, but who knows. As such, this requires a backup strategy. For a site like this, I'd go all in, mirrored backups with parity, at least 3 drives for 1 drive worth of space.

This ensures that unless the data center gets bombed, they can backup and restore all of these wonderfully informative threads.

So, ignoring the ease of use and flow of conversation, it just makes financial sense to limit duplicate threads as much as possible, it's wasteful.

So, in short, shut up
