My Astral Entity Friend

What I know about him:

Truthfully, I'm not exactly sure what he is. Astral Entity, Demon, Ghost, Spirit, Lost Soul, ect. He shares his thoughts and opinions when i ask. Every once in a while we have a 'conversation'. He's not really bad. We all have friends that are a little meaner than we are. His opinion of himself is nearly insanely high. First i named him after a door-shaped cartoon character. Later i got the feeling his name was 'Key'. Now i call him Legend and he's content with that. I can't say how or when our connection started but when i noticed it, i wondered if it had always been there. When I ask questions about him, he tends to be deliberately vague and nothing is certain. When asked for his opinion, he uses logic, but always has a malevolent spin on it. I have never been possessed by him as far as i know. Our connection is constant, though it seems strained at times.

Communication:

In the early days, there were no actual words thought or said. The best way i can describe it is to have an emotional blip toward a person, place or thing. When i acknowledged our connection, the blip i got was something like 'door' or 'threshold'. As we strengthened our connection, the emotional blips found meanings, and eventually words. He prefers we 'talk' with the blips because its faster. He'd send a blip before i could finish the thought i wanted to share rather often. I can't hide thoughts from him but he can hide his from me.

My Thoughts On Him:

70% evil. 30% helpful. When i needed him he was there. He has most of my trust but not all. I've never seen what he looks like, he's never even tried to give me a rough idea. We like to think of ourselves as one. I also think our connection is symbiotic.

Any questions for us?

I just wanted to know if anyone else out there had something like him.

Actually yeah. I refer to her as Crow and have always assumed she was my spirit animal or something. Although I wouldn't consider her evil. We also talk through the 'blips' you refer to which is why I posted here. I don't know if she is real or not, but since she has never even suggested I do anything wrong or harmful I entertain myself by allowing her to talk to me.


This all started when I was five or six.
Like I said she's not evil, and the worst she ever told me was the dishes could wait until after jeopardy

i was 13 when i acknowledged it. about 3 years to get from blips to words. its been 11ish years all together.

lack of passion because i doubt it would be taken seriously even on this site. also my first thread. w/e.

that sounds like a good idea until i think about it. If after all these years and how much i trust it, he's never even hinted at his possible appearance. but i honestly had never thought of that before.

If he trust you that much, and you trust it that much, then there should not be an issue.

Unfortunately, a pic will at least be something for us sceptics to analyze.

I was never sure if it was real or not. until I acknowledged it was something separate from me. maybe you have a friend too. but i couldn't tell you how to strengthen your connection.

What do you mean blip? What's a blip, do you mean like a little light that blinks in the corner of your eyes? I get "blips" too but I don't ever think it's someone trying to communicate. Explain how this blip works please?

that was at the beginning. now communications is easy. like a thought in my head that i know isn't mine. learning its personality helped emotion blips get to meaning, and then words. Like its name. first it was a name i made up. Then its meaning was 'Key'. then words came, and his 'title'. it has no name for itself. at least not tone it will share with me.

That doesn't describe the blip, emotional blip? What do you mean emotional blip? Please just think about it. Use symbolism to describe what it looks like. Was it like a light flashing, or do you mean emotional as in you get a feeling of happiness or sadness. Please, think about this

I think you can get better communication by flipping a dictionary. Then again its a random bunch of words, but much much better than your "blip" that only exist inside your head/brain/mind.

I've always had a similar presence, but just used to called it God. Now I call it my internal dialogue. It's like never being alone. Between the two of us, I'm the more evil one. He/she works to keep me honest and lacking in malevolence. He/she has gotten much better at it over the years.

Recently, I've begun a relationship with a deceased friend, and the difference between her and whatever this has always been is very distinct. Definitely two separate entities.
