The biggest problem for Paul is that the majority of Americans would not support his plans to essentially gut the federal government. That would include a lot of Paul supporters who haven't really thought through the implications of what he is proposing.

"Gutting the federal government?"

Ladies and gentlemen, the award for best dramatic actor goes to......

As for the remainder of your comment, Ron Paul's supporters have, indeed, thought through the "implications" of what he is proposing....hence, the motto "Ron Paul or no one at all."

1) The Primary is over.

We're talking about the primaries in the United States, OutKast, not the primaries on Planet Zorgon.

Ohhh right it must be TPTB that is allowing me to make 15,000 phone calls for Ron Paul and getting delegates organized for this guy.

Darn those TPTB! allowing us to do everything so we can play right into their manipulations!

Talking the anti-globalist line for decades while consistently walking with globalists. I want to believe in Ron Paul, but you can not refute the fact he has had some of the strangest allies, strange in the respect that they are active for the very thing he preaches against. Sometimes I just think Paul is there to collect those who might see through the game. As long as he's there, these people will think they have a voice. Those people turn to Paul, who is just as maligned as the rest but sold for decades as the true independent voice. Again, if you actually LOOK into the people he works with, like 13 of the 14 names above, you will find BIG TIME globalists. What he says though is incredibly inspiring and what we need in a leader, but we also need to look at their actions not just their words. Not doing that is how we got into this mess.

Well....aren't you the cutest little thing.

From your link:

The Sustainable Defense Task Force was formed in response to a request from Representative Barney Frank (D-MA), working in cooperation with Representative Walter B. Jones (R-NC), Representative Ron Paul (R-TX), and Senator Ron Wyden (D-OR), to explore possible defense budget contributions to deficit reduction efforts that would not compromise the essential security of the United States. The Project on Defense Alternatives coordinated the work of the Task Force. Carl Con

Please explain how your link supports this assertion of yours that Ron Paul is "consistently walking with globalists." After that, please explain how your link supports your claim that any of these globalists are his "allies."

These individuals were brought together to "explore possible defense budget contributions to deficit reduction efforts that would not compromise the essential security of the United States." The last time I checked, Dr. Paul has been one of the few politicians who has been working to cut defense spending and to reduce our deficit. I also "think" I may have heard him mention once or twice that he believes we should be focused more on our domestic defense capabilities here in the U.S.

In case you haven't heard, the globalists have their tentacles in just about every nook and cranny of the government that exists. Are you of the belief that a politician could potentially live out a 30-year career without ever having contact with a globalist or one of their minions on some level?

I have a hard time taking you seriously after this.

I thought about something last night in regards to a thread started by Outkast.

Acclamation...The RNC's Answer To Ron Paul Mischief
www.abovetopsecret.com...

in this thread, they talk about suspending the rules and voting to nominate romney through acclimation

what if this is something the Paul campaign has taken into consideration?
once the rules are suspended, with all these Paul supporters being delegates, I can see the call to nominate Romney through acclamation failing to recieve the 2/3 vote required

once Romney fails, they would then call for nominating Dr. Paul through acclamation and with all these supporters it would be an easy call to get the 2/3 needed...

just a thought.

Turn on them? Are you high? He has been turned on them for 30 years!! And they want him in the white house? What are you smoking dude...

Well I mean think about it if they wanted him gone he would've mysteriously died in some plane crash or gotten assassinated by now, surely? Gingrich and Santorum have already dropped out and he has Romney running scared. Obviously the media blackout is establishment induced to get him a pity vote, that's why everyone's on his side, he is essentially overthrowing the system... because they are letting him do it.

TRUST NO1! DOOD

Come on? Everyone in the world can't be a Manchurian Candidate. Dr Paul has a decades long track record of being the most conservative voting politician around. He's an outspoken critic of the military-industrial complex and he's being shut out by the corporate media for obvious reasons. He's overtly anti-establishment and apparently a very humane guy. He talks with genuine sympathy for the suffering and oppressed (way better than Obama imo).

WHAT? NO WAY!

Those damned RUSSIANS! We all know they never report a word of truth! I guess all those American whistleblowers, scientists, and investigative journalists they frequently use as sources are under mind control when they provide interviews!!!!!

Who thinks that RP will win the nomination. Honestly. With your brain, not your heart, who thinks he will overcome Romney and win?

Im not trying to pick a fight. Really would like to know.

I think Ron have a good chance of winning, and a VERY good chance to stir up things.
But it's hard to make predictions ...especially about the future.

Here are the facts and the way things are:

Ron Paul will NOT get the Nomination. Mitt Romney will. That's just the way it's going down and that's the way "they" settled it.

Mitt Romney will NOT attract enough diversity among voters (Democrats, Independents) in the general election and he will keep the majority of Republicans who voted for him in the Primaries. That's the base he has to rely on in the election. He has no chance of attracting non registered Republicans.

But Ron Paul will bring in the others. In fact, Paul will be the actual competition when it comes to facing Obama.

However, Obama will bring in the majority of Democratic votes along with many independents.

Obama WILL be re-elected whether you like it or not.

Am I happy about that? Meh. No. But at least Santorum dropped out and will never get close to the White House.

The PTB are masters at getting what they want, the federal reserves mandate ends on 21 dec 2012 what would be better than a president that could organise the transition by reducing the money spent by government that comes from the federal express reserve.

Something is up, a good analyst may be able to put the pieces together already to form the bigger picture.

So, you guys are just going to keep posting a thread or two about the same thing day after day after day? I thought that was a Progressive tactic? You know say the same thing over and over again and people will think it's true, even though it's not. Shades of Obama, Batman

This is hurting Ron Paul not helping him.

Indeed - why not just call for Ron Paul to be the nominee straight away - 2/3 vote for him. Game over. RP is very likely to have 2/3 of the delegates for any vote. What we saw in Nevada and Maine will be the same at the Tampa Convention. Ron Paul will own the room. What he wants to happen will happen. If they wanted to, they could have easily unbound the delegates by a rule change at the Nevada Convention. They didnt, baceuse they are going to do it Tampa.

Welcome to ATS.

Where every single day, there is at least one Ron Paul thread on the front page. ATS started off as a conspiracy theory website and moved its way into a "I have a boner for a Texan politician" site.
