Out of all those UFO Reports....

Don't you guys ever wonder if.. maybe even 1% or just a really really small percentage of all the reports was actually TRUE, something extraterrestrial and not from this planet?

Out all the millions of UFO sightings historically, it simply can't be all hoax or illusion can it? There's gotta be atleast a few reports that cannot be from this planet.

Show me ONE, just ONE report that defies any and all explanation.
I know of a few, actually, that are quite convincing, but, still, as of yet, only circumstantial.

Unfortunately, such is the nature of this phenomenon, unless we have a captive alien on public display, or wide spread public visitation and open interaction for all the world to see, most any evidence can be explained away by someone somewhere.

Speculation is nice, but, the icecream is better when you actually get to eat it.

I think the credible stories and data are all still there, but it has been diluted so much with all the fake youtube stuff. I think the people who falsify UFO accounts are pretty low.
Who cares if you can make a half assed UFO in a cracked copy of After Effects, We see much more convincing graphics in the movies every day.

If anything I'd kick it in the fork and call it a punk for taking so long to show up. I'd call it a punk for not going public. I'd call it a punk for many many reasons, and give it quite a stern talking to with lots of angry finger gesturing.

You might have a habit of thinking what other people tell you to think, but, I'm well aware of the social sympathetic drive for community that creates a consensus within cliques, groups, and social circles.
You typically are who you hang out with, and I'm pretty certain you think what you're 'told' to think through sympathetic social influence through those you know who are in turn programmed by the media far more so than myself.

I have seen my share of "UFO's", and have allways been a skeptical believer.

I have read most reports and watched allmost every video, docu and picture there have been released, and still i am not convinced in anyway that we have been visited by any alien race, or that the goverments have knowledge of any ET's or are in posession of alien spacecraft.

I have a big picture of it all in my mind, and only very few things make me still believe, but another part is saying BS.

But i will continue to read and watch anything released till the day i die, because i am curious and really want to shake an aliens hand.
One of my biggest wish is to be picked up by an alien spacecraft and hope they will show me the univers or just another living planet or solarsystem, but thats all part of my fantasy

I'm a skeptic too in the UFO phenomena, and haven't really witnessed anything UFO, but you can't discard this issue, as there have been millions and millions of reports. I'm a firm believer in life out there. I cant imagine all those billions of galaxies and there's not a single spec of life out there. It will be interesting to see how far this issue goes into the next few hundred years.

April 27, 1950: TWA flight 117, DC-3, 2,000 ft, first case of a close, extended sighting viewed by flight crew, cabin crew, and passengers, which included two Boeing engineers. The phenomenon put on quite a show, according to all those people (Air Hostess Gloria Hinshaw said she viewed it from both the darkened cockpit and the well-lit cabin), for which there can be no prosaic explanation other than that they were all, for whatever reason, not telling the truth about the event. And what they described seemed to be a constructed vehicle with capabilities probably centuries ahead of ours.

And then, of course, we have hundreds of pilot sightings that were confirmed by radar and/or ground witnesses, or in some cases pilots of other aircraft.

In desperation, one might theorize that pilots who report UFOs are telepathic psychopaths (crazy and telepathically able to make others believe they are also witnessing a sighting at the same time and cause radar operators to accidently destroy their data recordings).

No. That's a logical fallacy called "Shotgun Argumentation". See if this sounds familiar:

One or two pieces of "evidence" may not be enough to convince anyone, but collect a set of a couple of hundreds of pieces of "evidence" and it immediately starts being more believable.

Personally I do believe there is ET life out there. But we're not going to prove it with weak and fallacial arguments. People want so bad to believe that they're willing to dismiss logic and embrace every crackpot YouTube video that comes along. The truth is not on YouTube.

When I say 'you' I am talking broadly, The very fact that you are on a website like ATS tells me that you don't believe everything the media tells you anyway!

Certainly. I know for sure that some of the videos are real. I know of about 3 or 4 E.T vids being genuine as well.
Do you just disregard all the testimony of abductees as well? Because as an experiencer myself I can certainly recognize some people on ATS that do in fact seem to have genuine experiences as is my own.

Of course not all of them but as someone who has experienced this stuff first hand since I was a child there are certain earmarks that I recognize. I also know they can be copy-cat the real deal but my nose knows most of the time. I have traded storys with a couple people that turned out to be very legit and level headed and articulate with experiences that parallel my own. Please don't discount all these people as some of them have a whole bunch of great information, but they are ridiculed so greatly they find it easier not to talk about it, just as I do. Shame really....

I've never seen a UFO before, personally, but practically everyone I know says they have. I find it extremely difficult to believe we're the only planet with intelligent (and I use that word loosely) life, but still... let's say some alien flew here in a UFO. Somehow, our government has kept this a secret? How, exactly? Am I to believe they have the power to do so, against something with that kind of technology? Okay... let's say we were a technologically advanced race that could warp space and time, say, like the movie "Event Horizon" (without the horror element)... you know, folding a piece of paper in half and punching a hole through it, and wah lah, there you are. You can do this, and god only knows what else, yet you are threatened by men with guns, a weapons technology that is quite simply pathetic to your race's technological advancements? Bah! The only way this is possible is if the aliens only met with our government, and they are working together. That's even worse, but still harder to believe. What would a technologically advanced race have to gain by working in secret with a species that is inferior in every possible way? None of it adds up for me.

I think aliens working together with our government seems a bit too far fetched, but I do think the government has far advanced technology hidden from the public that can recognize UFOs and other weird phenomena out there. Who knows?

I do believe in life in the univers, for the same reasons as you.

But aliens on earth, i still need to see the report of a well explained sighting and footage evidence, because those two don't go hand in hand, it's either a video of small lights or a full explanation of a big craft with portholes and landings with the ocasionaly alien without a video.

Guys, is it not possible that these aliens are simply doing some kind of business or work here and don't even care about us humans?

If they did wouldn't they have attacked/destroyed/harmed us already? What would be the point of waiting for 60 + (or however long they have been here) years—and all the time with our technology and war weapons advancing?
