Hello ATS, This is going to sound crazy, but I thought I would put it out anyway.

My husband is something of a human seismograph.

I am surprised the originator never came back to edit her mistyped title, I have to assume she meant 'imminent' ?? If an earthquake is big it as almost eminent by default, I don't think she knows the difference between these words.

torsion, her and her husband have asbergers syndrome. He tends to lock onto 1 thing and that is all he is aware of, that was the gist of how she explaned it in an earlier post

This is an awful thought but... there is a huge quake and IF it hits the west coast & creates a tsunami, wouldn't it send the debris from the Japan disaster back their way? I have been reading reports that the debris field headed our way is huge. That would certainly take care of the disposal issues. Some say, things have a way of taking care of themselves.
Is that evil?

If there was a massive west coast earthquake and ensuing tsunami, the debris would be swept out to sea temporarily only to return in the days, weeks, and months following. A tsunami won't change the prevailing sea currents, which carried the debris from japan to the west coast.

In fact, if there was such an event, the debris from both the Japanese tsunami and the hypothetical west coast tsunami would probably mix and start washing back up on the west coast.

So when you are loved and respected you don't have to know what words mean because everybody can just interpret for themselves what your message is. If that's the case, why even waste our time with language? We could all just wildly gesticulate at each other to get our points across.

MODS!

WHY IS THIS ON THE FRONT PAGE?

NOTHING is going to happen. Get over it. WHY are there so many replies to such an ethereal subject?

The intelligence of this community astounds me

Hi,

I also share the impression that we are approaching rapidly to a great seismic pheonomenon, to occur so soon, and even I can say that this will affect directly the American soil, is not going to be to far of our coasts.

If you want to know more about my personal insights on this, please visit my thread at:

www.abovetopsecret.com...

Thanks to warn about this event in your thread too.

Though I believe some people may be sensitive to siesmic activity, I also know that a big earthquake is always eminent.

Thank you all for your participation in this thread.

Many interesting things have come from this. First of all, never did I say that it was a 100% certainty. It was a possibility and I put it out there. All of the kind people who have shared their experiences, dreams, beliefs, and feelings concerning the unknown have really expanded my knowledge concerning earthquake prediction and premonition. There are truly some amazing people on this site: Caring, considerate, and supportive.

Putting oneself out online and attempting something of this nature was not easy, and I went through some hesitation before I wrote it, but this is ATS, and it is a place for risk-taking. It still seems abnormally quiet in South America to me, but that's just my personal opinion.

For those who think this was done for stars and flags, I have to shake my head in wonder at the mentality of people who think posters write threads for things that have no real value. Stars and flags are somewhat validating, but you can't take 'em to the bank. This is not elementary school, and you shouldn't be in the corner pouting and calling somebody "Teacher's Pet" out of jealousy because Little Johnny got a gold star on his homework and you got an unhappy face in red on yours.

This is about connecting with others on a certain issue.

As far as correcting "Eminent", I was up until after 2:30 am this morning dealing with this thread and I was starting to nod off in front of the computer, so I didn't correct it. No need to have an aneurysm about it. Unwad your panties and relax, I shall fix it as soon as I'm done typing this. I do know the difference, BTW. Again, more childish tantrum-throwing, much ado about NOTHING. People that go on a thread just to play grammar cop, prancing around on their high horses, don't add anything of value, and are like the pouters crying about stars and flags. Very disappointed to see these types of responses and the animosity and pure nastiness that emanates from them. It is hurtful but not unexpected, considering that the anonymity of the internet allows such meanness without reprisal. The quality of your posts say more about you than it does about me and this thread.

Most of the people who participated were absolutely wonderful, and I learned so much from them. I realize now I should have placed this thread in "Dreams and Predictions", it would have fit better there.

All in all, I'm GLAD nothing happened, even though I got a few thumps on the head from people angry that the magician's hat did not produce a rabbit for their amusement. Sometimes it just happens that way. Better to be wrong about something of this magnitude than right.

Thanks for all the support and kindness (you know who you are)! If it weren't for you, most people would be too afraid to start a thread, because of the cruelty and ridicule they might receive if everything isn't completely perfect.

EDIT: I cannot edit the title at this time, it has been too long. I guess your panties stay in a wad then.

Someone at syzygyjob think that it will be in the area of Indonesia.
They say that the quakes happen up to 7 days after the full moon - in this case Saturday's super moon.

I believe you, don't worry, there are unexplainable things in this world. I cry like mad and become emotionally unstable right before someone close to me dies or before something bad happens in the world, usually over a large scale. Two nights ago I had a random breakdown triggered by a death that happened more than a year ago. I react differently when I think of this death. I, too, hope this is just a random burp in my senses.

Why is it always earthquakes? We need to lock onto a new form of doom. Similar to how we need to replace zombies.

I am picking up what you are laying down and have really enjoyed your thread. Some people on here are just rude, hate to say, but it's true. I have always enjoyed what you have had to say on certain topics and your West Texas wind reports are awesome, more people should pay attention to those. Don't let it get you down, I'm with ya!
Love and Peace,
Heather

It's really strange that you posted this. I was going to do a prediction thread myself, but I was afraid of being flamed. In March of last year I was in clinicals and had a really long commute. Several mornings before the Japan quake I noticed a sun halo around the sun. But it was different because it looked like a rainbow. I have a crappy phone, it is quite prehistoric. As much as I tried to get a picture, I coundn't get anything. So anyway, I saw the exact same thing this morning. It was a perfect rainbow around the sun. Seems really strange to me. I hope he is wrong and my sun rainbows are just pretty to look at. We shall see.

Much love
