What the hell is this next to my son....?!?

It's a Rottweiler, it look like a dog clearly.....

You can see the nose of a dog and it's eyes.

You can also see that some of the image is behind the child as well, meaning if you look by his shoulder, the same colour hue is the same as the shady figure.

Not really sure if it's an artifact or a spirit, but I'm leaning toward spirit ,because it has what I call " dead eyes" Just blackness, no eyes. I have a photo of my cat in spirit and she has the same black " dead eyes " that I've seen in other evidence, and my photo was not taken with a smartphone or near a mirror.
Even though this particular photo may or may not be a spirit, the fact that there are dead people everywhere remains, and there is tons of evidence out there that can't be explained away.
OP, I recommend you keep taking photos of your child and see if you can capture anything else near him, and I would also go back and look at all your old photos. Look for light orbs and shadows as well.

I am telling you the face/helmet looks like a Storm Trooper. Which could be a toys reflection or projection in the picture. Or its something else.

Honestly to me it just looked like a reflection from the back windshield into the rear view mirror making it look as though it is over the kid, but rather it's just a reflection in the mirror. Looks like it is party sunny out maybe with some cloud cover which reflected from back window to rear view mirror and when the picture was taken from that view point it makes whatever is seen in the mirror also look as though it is over the child. if that makes much sense.

my son had an imaginary friend a few years ago when he was only 3 yrs old called Jape Mate - he'd tell us about jape all the time and was always talking to him - when we asked who jape was my son said he was a little boy who
had died

then suddenly after about 6 months he just stopped interacting with his invisible friend , and now almost 4 years later he can barely remember who Jape was - he thinks it was someone he played with in his nursery group - and we leave it at that .

You know what, I give up, it's a demon that looks like a smudge or over exposure.

Im the guy who believed the alien face. But I recently realized that if you look at the aliens left eye from our side of the view, it is perfectly matchable with the cars bench. So that makes it more believable as a hoax/trickforthe-eyes in my eyes. But still it is pretty nice and I cannot be certain. How others think?

Fingerprints from adjusting the mirror to see the child. If the mirror is clean today then the photographer has already figured this out and cleaned it. If they cleaned it and still showed you the image purporting it to be something behind your son they're scamming you on purpose.

Hah to me it looks like a top half of an old person with a giant white moustache, does look weird, not sure if it's a result of a mirror trick since the rest of the photo is in a decent condition without any sort of "fog" anywhere else to be found except for right behind the son...

There's been hundreds of photos taken with "ghosts" in the background, i wouldn't be surprised if this was really a ghost, great picture though, thanks for the post

Edit: Most girls take a couple of pictures of the same moment, would've been good if whoever took the picture would've taken it twice, and if the second photo didn't have such an effect it would be clear, too bad ...
