BP Oil Spill Photos Posted By Greenpeace Following Freedom Of Information Request

Over two years after the disastrous BP oil spill wreaked havoc on the Gulf, Greenpeace has received photos of the destruction inflicted on marine life in the area.

According to a Greenpeace press release, the environmental group filed a Freedom of Information request in 2010 for the photos -- their request was one of over 50 FOIA requests submitted by Greenpeace to various agencies regarding the oil spill.

The photos were requested by Greenpeace back in 2010 to various agencies and, according to their press release, "appear to be part of the effort to collect evidence for the prosecution of BP and others."

Several of the images show growth deformities, open lesions, etc., something that could affect sea life in the gulf for decades.

See the article and Greenpeace Web site for more photos.

If Karma exists a certain race is going to get it bad.

What happened to the animals is terrible, I don't want to put the responsibility on humans for the protection of animals but we should take better care of our environment.

Dont know about RACE as EACH RACE of EA*RTH has had chances to SHINE BRIGHT but has FELL for the POWER THIRST of the last. So I dont know if its race issue or PART OF THE SPECIES of HUE-MANS elite LABELED RESPONSIBLE FOR caretaking OF THE ABOVEGROUND POPULACE. As far as animals being responsibility of humans hmmm some humans feel they are Angels responsibility so why cannot the same responsibility be passed down to humans?

Well, if I look at it through Karma, a certain race has been dealing with bad karma for a long time also. I don't know what happened back then for them to get it that bad. Just an observation though.

(who is the WHEAT and WHO is the CHAFF of EA*RTH harvest)

Not sure how to the topic turned to Karma but I need to comment. I do believe in Karma but I'm pretty sure its got really bad aim.

Why do bad things happen to good people?
Cause the bad guys got away with it.

On topic, all I can say.... its very sad.... I blame everyone who uses oil on a regular basis. Even me if I do (I'm not aware that I do but I'm happy to take part of that blame).

They'll have a tough time prosecuting anyone over the spill because the laws are so lax, the agencies that were supposed to be monitoring their compliance were just as culpable.
