I can’t find it anywhere online, but sometime back, a nanny was trying to sale used diapers that supposedly belonged to one of Brad Pitt/Angelina Jolie's babies.

I mean seriously, what would you do with something like that...?

Until you try to sell any Nazi memorabilia or SS related items. They'll remove it within hours. It happened to me. But one can sell Jesus pizza's and bread and wood 'alien' arms. Such a waste...

Gonna need a source for this, here is mine:

EBay Search

Maybe you were a little harsh with the description? I mean they may be against Nazi support... I didn't see your listing, so I am un-informed to the specifics.

I was surprised to see so many listings...I think coins were okay? He's right though, I tried to sell a spoon on there once. it was probably five years ago when I did. It was like a salad spoon or something that had ended up in my utensils and I never thought anything of it until I was washing it one day and there was a swastika with the eagle on the back of it. I listed it and hours later my listing was removed with some info on not selling hate crime related items? Let me look for what they said to me.

pages.ebay.com...

If you scroll down, it includes nazi memorabilia under offensive material. They pulled my spoon for it being offensive.

We don't allow items that promote or glorify hatred, violence, racial, sexual, or religious intolerance, or promote organizations with such views. We’ll also remove listings that graphically portray graphic violence or victims of violence, unless they have substantial social, artistic, or political value.

We carefully consider all the details before deciding to remove such listings when they're brought to our attention, looking at the entire listing to see if it goes against our guidelines.

pages.ebay.com...

I am telling you it all boils down to your ad (More often than not). If you do not properly explain what you are selling, then it could be pulled.

Regardless, a mummified "alien arm" didn't start a world war...Therefore the strawman of Nazi's aren't allowed doesn't apply anyway!

This topic is just a circus fellow (or gal) selling something that should be used in a circus side-show. They even sell the story with it, as they should.

Shades of Mr. Haney!

It was a spoon. Nothing more, nothing less. A spoon. I listed a picture, didn't say much because there wasn't much to say. It was removed and ebay cited some guidelines to me.

Nazi and Nazi-related We recognize the historical significance of World War II and that there are many militaria collectors around the world. We allow some related historical items, but ban others, particularly those that amount to Nazi propaganda.

Allowed Stamps, letters, and envelopes displaying Nazi postmarks Currency issued by the Nazi German government, including military scripts Items that have a swastika that are not related to Nazi Germany (such as good luck charms, Native American blankets, Buddhist sculptures) Replica or novelty stamps or currency of Nazi Germany (must comply with the currency and stamp policies) even if they contain images of swastikas or German leaders

That is exactly the email and message I was sent. I was trying to sell a ring that was marked with a swastika and a SS symbol. I'm not even sure it was from WWII era. I found it in an old house that was being demolished in Virginia.

It's a double standard policy if you ask me. They say "We recognize the historical significance of World War II and that there are many militaria collectors around the world. We allow some related historical items, but ban others, particularly those that amount to Nazi propaganda."

I can understand not being allowed to sell Nazi propaganda, but just because an item is marked with a swastika does not mean it is influencing Nazism.

I explained every possible detail about the ring. I took a series of detailed photos. I made it as professional as I could.

It's a relatively new policy because years ago I sold 3 pictures taken by my great uncle of concentration camps in Poland. They were graphic pictures that included dead bodies. Each picture sold for $250 after 3-4 days.

Anyway I'm off topic.

Righty-o! Anyways, to be back on topic, the arm auction ended without a winner. Not one bid! It has been relisted with a starting bid of 99 cents. Not sure if there is a reserve yet or not. Any takers now?

Title: German Army Uniforms and Insignia Chart WWII War Propaganda Art Print Poster

Item

BIDDING ON A WW2 GERMAN PILOT PATCH I BOUGHT IN E. GERMANY

Item

SEXY
Nazi Pin-up Girl
Sticker/Vinyl Decal

Item

Again I see some items that are not "coins" etc. I made sure to organize my search(es) for "ending first" as to get listings that were not just posted.

However, I will say that there is alot less in terms of Nazi's than when I sold those uniforms.

Regardless, the strawman still does not apply to this situation. A "sideshow item" didn't start a world war...

And too bad that no one bought the "arm", never see anything good at the circus anymore...
