As a US convoy was passing by in the city of Mosul a car bomb exploded injuring six US Soldiers. American troops sealed off the area after the
"vehicle was wrecked." This all happened after the release of the two Italian women. The women stated that they were treated well. They were not
tortured. They were given clean food and they slept well.
Also the military states that a rocket launcher that was mounted on the back of a vehicle in Baghdad was destroyed as US warplanes struck it.
Destroying both the rocket launcher and the vehicle which caused a secondary explosion. Maithem Mahmoud of the al-Sadr General Hospital said one man
was killed and a woman injured in the U.S. strike.

Simona Torretta and Simona Pari were released with five other hostages Tuesday, encouraging relatives of foreigners still being held. Hours after
gaining freedom, the two were back in Italy with their families.
